Sahiwal Massacre - PM Orders Punjab Govt To Appeal Against Court's Verdict by Julia0001: 6:29am On May 23, 2021
Firdaus Aashiq Awan said on Friday that Prime Minister Imrans had instructed the Punjab government to appeal the verdict of a counter-terrorism court in the Sahiwal massacre.

Awans said Prime Minister Imrans had expressed concern about the acquittal of six suspects in the Sahiwal massacre case.
Awan wrote on Twitter that a high-level committee would be set up to investigate and investigate the weaknesses of the prosecution team in the case.

Punjab Law Minister Raja Bisharata said the government and the public were equally unhappy with the verdict in the Sahiwal massacre case.
The Lahore Anti-Terrorism Court on Thursday acquitted all suspects involved in the Sahiwal clash.

According to Geo live news the case was heard by the Counter-Terrorism Court no. 1 Judge Arshad Hussains Bhutta. The suspects represented Safdar Hussain, Hasan Khan, Ramadan, Saifullah, Hussain and Nasir Nawaz in court.

The court rejected the statements of 49 witnesses, including the victim's brother Isishama and the victim's child Khalila. Witnesses in court refused to identify the suspects.

On 19 January, four people, including three family members, were killed in a possible clash in Sahiwal, with CTS members claiming to have killed a local leader of the terrorist group ISIS and three others during the operation. However, eyewitnesses rejected the claim, saying the car's passengers had not shot officers and no explosive objects had been found in the car.

In a final report submitted last month, a joint investigation team set up to investigate the killings said the family members of those killed were innocent and wrongly killed. The report also recommended strong action against CTC staff who made changes to the register.

Pakistani actress Armin Rana Khan is known for having rectified all the mistakes made in society and demanding justice in the Sakhalin incident.
Turning to Twitter, the 32-year-old actor highlighted the injustice of the Sahiwal confrontation, as all victims were acquitted earlier today by a counter-terrorism court.

Hashtag #thatsjustbeyondcruel host said: "Do you remember the #Sahiwal case? My parents were murdered leaving young children.
At the beginning of the day, the suspects involved in the accident were acquitted on suspicion.
