In that ur point u lack total understanding of what business is let alone a black setting up a MEDICAL facility in white man's home. Check and know..."running a country it more of a business than any other thing u may try equating it to"

Atleast it shows he has been successful in something and can also be successful in others.
He has never been a "government pikin" as it is said in Nigeria. He is already rich (in a transparent legit way) and does not need a dime from the state. A lot of rich folks going into office in naija, one way or the other made money through goverment patronage and need same to survive.
People like this Dr should be considered for public service.

I'm highly disappointed by most of the comments i've seen so far in this thread. It's obvious that most of us sense of reasoning is way too myopic to the point that we no longer have positive mindset anymore. It got me wondering why then we come here everyday and night to complain about bad governance when our brains and mindset has already been configured that nothing good will come out of us anymore. I'm actually from the north, but i believe that if God blesses one among the 36 states of the federation with a well exposed, educated and innovative governor the rest states will be force to emulate him/her,but with the comments i've seen so far i think we still have a long way to go.May Allah see us through.Habba, instead of supporting good thing we're all here blaming him.hmmmmm honestly i don't mind leaving north to go and campaign for this man in Anambra

Being successful in medical field isn’t a bad career but a switch to political office will derail such ambitious personalities to a cross platform.
Politics isn’t for the faint hearted and your goal is not just to build medical facilities and equip them rather find a place in your heart to secure the love of the people you deem to govern should you climb to that podium to make your first governorship aspirant speech.
May the people’s choice rule...

First I don’t understand your point about Nigeria is Doomed. Do you know if am from Republic de Chad?
Secondly being a leader of tomorrow should let you understand we both are not born equal in everything E.g Ur eyes size is different from mine.

Must we continue with the never do well personalities?
What is wrong for him sacrificing his good position for the good of his people?
Or have you concluded within your mind that the post is only for material gain without sacrifice?
Switching to people who knows their left and right is never a bad idea.

Oga, we need successful employers of labour to run Nigeria like they are running their businesses, not people who have no idea what it means to create jobs. If not, we will keep going round in circles.

Besides, you make it sound like establishing such businesses in the United States is as easy as ABC. It's easy to go to school and start looking for jobs; it's harder to own and run one's business into a roaring success.

We are talking about having multiple health facilities in the United States and you are talking about LUTH. LUTH ko, LOOT ni undecided

All am saying is that because he founded a pain clinic in america doesn't make him eligible for health minister or even governor......the dynamics of both societies are different, plus you guys should stop over hyping this america abeg. If I where from anambra I'd pick a more experienced guy like charles soludo, this newbie maduka lacks local sense and is most likely disconnected from what the common man needs, reason why op is showing big buildings as a sign of his achievements.

Just shocked that almost every respondent berates his credentials as a candidate and openly, shamelessly I will say, insinuate that political office is for illiterates, thugs and brigands.

If this is not poor quality citizenship, what is? For a people cannot experience the good they cannot imagine and cannot get the quality of leadership their mentality repudiates.

What a pity.

One thing is clear, this is a very honorable and well accomplished man. So much so, I always express my fear for him in politics. Look at what happened to Funso Williams.

But we cannot leave politics to bandits, thugs and cow heads alone and then come back and complain that Vagabonds rule us.

Dr. Okpara was also a medical doctor, he did well.

Dr. Ebele Jonathan PhD Zoology paved the way for Buhari after securing votes across the country.

Nigeria is only one of the few countries where Activists do not stand a chance! Personal Assistants would finish them before they raise their issues.

So I have mixed feelings for a decent man like Dr. Maduka in politics.

Unveiling Maduka's Giant Strides In U.S, A Reflection Of His Capacity To Govern Anambra State* ( WATCH VIDEO)

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cNk357T27P8

Dr. Godwin Maduka, a frontline governorship aspirant on the platform of the Peoples Democratic Party, PDP, in Anambra State, has continually demonstrated an uncommon passion for the betterment of the people of the State.

At a time, both serious and unserious contestants for elective offices in Nigeria scramble to be elected, it is important the electorate ascertain their capacity and abilities, as a basis to elect or reject them at elections.

In other words, it is vital they asses how each aspirant has fared or performed in his or her private endeavour before entrusting him or her with a leadership position.

Records have shown that it is only those who excelled in their chosen field of endeavour made impacts in public office when elected.

Former Governor of Anambra State, Mr Peter Obi, is a testimony. He was an astute business man , one of the nation's influential players in the financial sector, before he forayed into politics, and later became governor of Anambra State.

Such a feat is on the verge of repeating itself in the State, If Anambrans take cognisance of the giant strides and monumental success Dr. Godwin Maduka has recorded in the field of medicine on the global stage.

Maduka successfully set up and runs Las Vegas Pain Institute, one of the respected health institutions in the United States.

Located in six different locations across Nevada, the Institute, with state of the art medical facilities, is one of the best medical centres in the U.S, which offer quality medical services, particularly in the area of pain management to people across the globe.

From Jamaica to Spain, down to Seychelles up to Egypt, hundreds of nationals of foreign nations come to the Institute to seek quality medicare, which Maduka and his team have effectively rendered.

This clearly showcase the fact that Maduka has proven his mettle in medicine at the global stage and having attained such enviable feat, he certainly has the capacity to take Anambra State to eldorado.

Maduka's success in medicine is not only on the global stage, he replicated such feat back home, when he set up a similar medical facility in his home town, Umuchukwu in Anambra State, which is rendering quality medical services to ANAMBRARIANS and those from outside the State.

His huge footprints in the field of medicine, is a testimony and reflection of his ability to take Anambra State away from its present socio economic doldrums to the zenith of development.
