"Who holds the keys to the delta state government house come 2023"

Delta state is known for its very hard politics over the years, meaning that delta people do not play when it comes to choosing a governor to lead the people.

Picking a governor come 2023 will be the decisions of the people themselves because of the disappointment received so far from candidates presented by the se few men who think the state have been under their bondage over the years.

Since 1999 when delta voted for the chieftains of the peoples democratic party pdp, the state have passed through the abuse of power, disrespect for the rule of law, lack of basic amenities such as ordinary water ro drink, security of lives and property and of course in the issues of the very poor levels of education, healthcare facilities and employment for the youths and women.
If you allow me to talk on the issues of the decadence of bad governance and corruption in the state, I will use a total full capacity of an exercise book to pour down the wrong dealings of the pdp and the present okowa's administration that looks like a sainters regime.

How can you call a governor who doesn't care about the people of delta, the road master when we have alot of roads unconstructed
or maintained over the 6 years he has been in office.
Can't you see what governor Wike is doing in Rivers state,
Okowa is not qualified to be called a road master because he has done more white elephant projects where the funds of the state have been stolen into private pockets then the ordinary projects that should have been of beneficiary to the people.

What will hungry people do with over head bridges and road inside the Bush when they have not eaten.
Provide basic amenities for the people and we shall see them enjoy these roads and bridges you are building.
What is the need for infrastructure when the hunger is killing the people of your state.

I will love to say that the 2023 governorship elections will not remain in the hands of the men that brought okowa to office.
This time around power have to change hands for the people not to revolt in terms of what we saw in edo state when governor Godwin Obaseki did the needful by standing his grands to return to office by all means, and thereby refusing to adhere to continue in the mess of leadership with his former godfathers who said he will not return to the state as governor.

Definitely power must move back to the people come 2023 in delta because we have seen a condition why this and more will be seen in delta.

So therefore, the keys of the delta state government house will rest in the hands of someone who has the integrity and capacity to lead the state come 2023.

We have witnessed the political dramatic moves on the go already in the three prominent political groups (PDP, APC and the NYDP) in nigeria with a sideline at the state level, thereby measuring to present the people with their respective candidates as the elections draws closer by the day.

One will like to pretend that we are not seeing the movements of the political game plans of the godfathers and the area boys with some small funds at hand, who feel they are still in control, maybe because our eyes can't see what the reality is at the moment.

But we shall outline the final list of personalities that have worked themselves into the position of public favour knowingly or unknowingly for the seat of the delta state governorship no matter what anybody thinks.
Politics is no more only about force, thuggery and money, it has moved from all that to personality, integrity, Dignity and capacity at all cost.

And that we should be seeing in the personalities of this Governorship final list we have presented here for your honest elucidation.

*SENATOR OMO AGEGE*
We all know his person how he rode into power in the administration of governor James Ibori as the special assistant and later entered the shoes of a commissioner and finally ended up as ssg, using the name of his father who was a high court judge meaning that he has no name of his own until he was said to coordinate as commissioned to steal the mase of the National assembly just to be selected as the deputy senate president of nigeria in a presidential coup inside the chambers of the Senate.
So, deltans is this the kind of personality delta people wants to be their governor at this time when integrity and capacity leadership is running the waves of politics across the globe.

For me, I will advise that Omo Agege should try hard to remain as a senator if its going to be possible because his style of appointing deltans as personal assistants is not enough to build a sincere political team that can deliver him at the polls.
Political assistants who dont take home same salary received by other assistants serving other senators in other regions.

These personal assistants do not even have the heavyweight to support him in a senatorial bid talk less of the governorship position.
Senator Omo Agege will not find it easy to return to the senate because alot of political game plan is underway to stop him as far as delta politicking is concerned.

Moreover if the senator is bold enough he should dear open his mouth to say it and let the world hear that he wants to be delta governor instead of using aids who do not have the capacity to deliver him.
If he can't say he wants to be Delta State Governor by now it means that he's not capable to hold Delta.

My best advise is for him to stay on ground and support a much more better capacity personality to be delta governor come 2023.

For some persons i talked with on the Omo Agege delta governorship matter, they said he will end up losing both positions if he doesn't settle down and decide what he wants at this time in history.

Being the deputy senate president doesn't mean he has an unopposed opportunity where the people will just say you can move on sir, you have done well for our people, meaning that he's not an excellent Senator that the people can sir for.

He doesn't have such class as a politician coming from the South South zone, because if it were senator Godwill Akpabio for sure he has the power to fight the regional battle to a standstill following his anticedence so far.

But for Senator Omo Agege, he won't be able to show a measure up with the way we have seen him not able to control the political forces of the South South Region as a leader in the party.

*KENNETH GBAJI*
This is yet another political beast that will not be able to walk through the people if true democracy is allowed to play itself in the delta politics.

Moreover we have seen the political gang up against this personality straight from his own village. We met youths who said they will do everything possible to make sure he wastes his money in this elections after accusations and counter accusations have continued to roll across the state that his an anti people politician and should not be allowed to even become a candidate of the most nonsense political party.

It is said that he's a total failure if any party takes him candidate.
He comes with a very serious bad blood and such will scatter the people in the state.

He's said to be a very rich man who doesn't care about people, some said he will employ or give people jobs and will refuse to pay them after the work, meaning that if he becomes governor the people will suffer so much from lack of salary payments like we see in benue state under the Samuel Ortom administration.

So if the pdp wishes to continue to hold power in delta state they must shop for a much more humble personality without the trace for accusations and counter accusations as the case maybe on him now.

How will it be heard that the governor of delta state is accused for the unclothedness of workers in the government house, because if he did it as a normal business man he would do much more when he becomes the governor.

So therefore, barrister Kenneth Gbaji should not be allowed to star as a governorship candidate come 2023 elections.

He should be disqualified at the primary elections so it serves as detereint to others who feel because they have money they can do and undo.

*RUFUS EGBEBA*
This is another force said to be hiding at the center.

He's the director General of the National Biosafety Management Agency since 2015.

A man who got Appointed by president Goodluck Jonathan at the tale-end of 2015 to serve as the pioneer director General and got reappointed for a second term again by the president buhari administration as a well-done certification by the authorities.
He's said to have a very strong Dignity in terms of accountability and capacity in his field of play which should be enjoyed in Delta.

Although have not declared his intention to run for the seat of the delta governorship and has a fan-base team of young men and women scattered across the state already talking about his candidacy.

I personally walked into a crowd and this discussion of who holds the key to the delta state government house come 2023 came up, everybody on that table agreed that such a man should even be begged by the Delta people to run as governor of delta.

Delta state has become a place where everyone wants to participate in making the next governor come 2023 so it won't be a childs play like in the past to choose a governor come 2023.

And if we honestly want the state to move forward, we must get men like Rufus Egbeba to run for Governor so that we can see delta fly higher in infrastructure, healthcare facilities and employment for the youths.

He was said to have a foundation which deals with the promotion of youths leadership, the sustainability of the environment and political education for the youths who he always calls the leaders of today and not of tomorrow.

Dr Rufus Egbeba should be supported to become delta governor come 2023 because of the capacity he controls so far in the national politics of Nigeria.

Its funny oh, but I don't see any reason why men like Olorogun Otega, Omo Agege, Great Ogboru, James Ibori, Emmanuel Uduaghan, James Manager and others can't rally round themselves and find it imperative to go to him or invite him and ask him to come down to the state and help build the state.
Rufus for me is a kind of person that should be an unopposed elected governor.
As it is now, any Political party that can move him into their fold as the Governorship candidate that party is going to win in whatever election even if it's done 10 times.
The man has the qualities, let's forget about the parry for now and bring him on borad so we can work out a new delta state for the good of our democracy.

Go to abuja and ask of him at his place of work, nobody will give you any negative talk on him, what a man with integrity and dignity.

Conclusion note:
We have also been hearing names of other persons who also wants to be delta governor but do not have the grass or grace coverage to be listed here as far as I am concerned.
Politics is not about talking only, it deals with the realities of life as it comes.

Anybody who tells you any other politician not on this super list can dear move more than a commissioner or chairman of one office in delta should show us anything that person have done in the past to foster peace, unity, or development in delta state.

The major reason why a name like Keneith Gbaji is listed here is because of the small investments he has in the state that have created employment for the people.

We have to give it to him for deciding to invest at home but for the fact that his name is stained with the dirty piece of hatred, disuity and disrespect for human dignity deltans shouldn't see him as a responsive element of growth. If he is governor today, the fighting between other camps from even the pdp will fight him to finish and thereby slowing the chances for building a better delta.

And for Omo Agage as delta governor, I say no to him for not been able to hold the south south together as the highest ranking political elected person under the APC government.

If he couldn't run the region what makes him capable of rocking the great delta state where you have to be a lion to control the people.

And for Rufus Egbeba, he will do well as governor of delta because he doesn't have a bad name, he is not a state politician who will rule with impunity and he has a solid score card, very active from the national level.

That's all we can take on this series, I will reach you again with yet another political drama news as it flows; so stand with me on this so we all can be on the same page to moving delta state forward.

Remember, that we need the best for delta come 2023 which means its not about the political party, its about making sure that the best and right personality moves to the government house to reopen a solid agenda of state development for the good of our people.

Gradually we can see the man who should hold the keys to the delta state government house come 2023.

The biggest problem delta State has is their tribalistic politics. They keep recircling old and useless politicians all in the name of it is turn of this tribe to rule. I remembered when otega was contesting all I could hear is, it is urhobo turn to rule, urhobo Delta, urhobo is the largest group in delta State so they only can deliver a candidate. It was after the elections I decided to check him up and see the guy is brain. Head so many large corporation but non was mentioned during the campaign.

According to the delta pdp zoning arrangements it's supposed to be the turn of delta central senatorial zone but it seems they don't have any good popular candidate for now so i think the governorship race should be thrown open for all responsible deltans.
