A geopolitical research and strategic communications consulting firm in Africa known as SBM Intel has alleged that the fact that it wasn’t the Nigerian military that killed Abubakar Shakau, the Boko Haram leader, raises security concerns in the region.
The death of Abubakar Shakau, the Boko Haram leader, creates much uncertainty regarding the future of the Boko Haram group.

No one knows if they will join the Islamic State in West African Province (ISWAP) or if they will continue to exist as Boko Haram, the SBM Intel says.

And if they integrate into the ISWAP group, then they will become more strengthened in their resurgence as they now have a common goal with shared intelligence.

What can you say regarding the development?

The geopolitical research and strategic communication firm know as SBM Intel said that the fact that Abubakar Shakau was killed by the ISWAP group rather than the Nigerian troops poses a great threat to the Nigerian military.

The SBM Intel made this statement, citing the fact that the killing of Boko Haram leader by the ISWAP group will raise their status and tendency to carry out a more coordinated operation in the region.

It shows that ISWAP has better financing, better network, and relationship with the Islamic State terrorist groups in the Middle East.
And if they integrate into the ISWAP group, then they will become more strengthened in their resurgence as they now have a common goal with shared intelligence.

shocked

Allahu Akbar

Shekarau is not dead.
He only went to Jannah to check if there are still 72 virgins for him. He will be back after verifying if his 72 virgins are complete and in tact.

No, I am more worried about our politicians, some says we should join BH and fight ISWAP, others called shekau a true hero.

Our fight against BH is political cos if common ISWAP can reduce BH to this in months, Nigerian govt should have done it in weeks if they were serious about the fight...

Thank U ISWAP

ISIS West Africa could locate shekau but the NA cannot. Tells you all.

The merger is complete, it will be tough to manage.
