It's really not about the word federal because the country is called the federal republic of Nigeria but we know there's nothing federal about it. You will not hear federal regarding Canada,US or UK. The reason why we're not federating is because some people wants to benefit far more than they contribute LegendHero: 1 Like |

This is the best way to go. Nigeria is prosperous btw 1960 to 1963 up until the military took over the affairs of govt. It will be a thing of joy to go back to regional govt and let us implement the aburi Accord. 2 Likes |

Excellent. This has been my cry for so long. Each region will be more empowered. One block headed Fulani cannot Lord over the whole nation again. And let the guys who have been cheated for long (ibo) take the destiny of their future too in their hands. Let us make central presidency not financial attractive again. Let it be mainly foreign policies and executions of laws in the nation. Even, abuja senators and house of assemblies may be less attractive as many will want to compete in their local regions. This is how development will occur. This is the concept developed nations have used to grow their economy. They keep supporting and investing so much in small and tiny businesses. They have successfully made startups the big thing now. Let's apply this principle to our nation. Let's go! 3 Likes |

ThatFairGuy:Let him keep deceiving the third eye blind, when them Awolowo & Azikiwe approved the constitution of 1979 as Amended 1999, why did they not complain? It took them 42 years for him to realize that them Awolowo & Co did not know anything? Rubbish, nothing will change, let them account for the money they have collected from the FG they are complaining about. 1 Like |

DMerciful: I think Federal is one of the optimal solution to our co-existence and anything after that will be full dissolution of the entity called Nigeria. Yeah I agree that it’s only on paper when you look at how Nigeria is currently being run but it was a true federal system pre-military era and that’s what Akeredolu is trying to say. Federal itself is a terminology and if you don’t action it, you won’t have anything different from the status quo and we will just be going around in circles. 1 Like 1 Share |

Re: Constitution Review: Akeredolu Backs Return To 1963 Constitution by LegendHero(m): 3:45pm On May 26, 2021 |
IDENNAA: Tinubu supported the review of the constitution. They made a pronouncement of it in their broadcast few days ago. See Nigeria is politics, constitutional amendment will favor the Yorubas and Lagos will be a great beneficiary too. Politics is always some kind of optical play, you only go all out for something when you know it can be a reality or else your enemies will crush you completely for your failure. There is no reason whatsoever why Tinubu caucus won’t want restructuring, they are just handicapped right now because they don’t have that real power yet. 4 Likes |

For the umpteenth time, this Man should please swap titles with that cricket on Bourdillon road... In Yoruba parlance, Asíwájú is the One leading. He takes the lead, sets the pace and rally contemporaries and folks to a point of reason. Asíwájú is not a Bullion Van dealer, not a morally bankrupt person, who only thinks about himself and his family alone! An ideal Asíwájú is altruistic! Arákùnrin on the other hand, means just an ordinary fellow! An Arákùnrin is an insignificant personae, a day-to-day person who commands no special attention or respect! He's essentially a follower, who is not to be followed! So, Let Aketi become Asíwáju And Tinubu be Arákùrin. 6 Likes 1 Share |
