Owerri has yet witnessed another ugly story with the pulling down of the Ultra modern Imo International Conference Centre (IICC), Owerri, built by the rescue mission administration of Owelle Rochas Okorocha.

A hitherto serene city and state has been replete with stories that characterize cities of mayhem and savagery in recent times.

Credible sources have it that an orchestrated script from the annals of the new rulers of Imo are being activated following the demolitions of the Somto Hospital, roundabouts and tunnels that were checking traffic congestions, etc. The next target is the state of the art new Government Lodge inside Government House, Owerri also built by Former Governor Okorocha.

Eyewitness accounts point to some deliberate activities in the middle of the night in the last few days at the solid pillars erected at the core and the peripheral dimensions of the IICC building, complimenting the false re-roofing attempt of the past few months. All were machinations to realize the collapse of the building, an edifice that stood solid for the past 6 years and hosted high profile local and international events.

The attempt to whittle down the larger than life image of Rochas Okorocha vis-a-vis the 2023 Presidency is becoming ridiculous. His men are being hounded, his legacies are being decimated yet, his unifier mien, philanthropic antecedents and Imo Rescue Mission milestones keep standing him out.

What I see here is a collapsed structure

This man's biggest downfall was criminally ousting Apga that made him,and bringing in that useless Apcheat to Imo state.

This greedy man brought us into a bigger problem by bringing us to an upgraded pdthief,by dragging us into this demonic Apcheat

Now the ICC he built has joined the league of collapsed structure.
