The deal should not be allowed. It will end up conferring inequitable advantage on the Dangote Group to the detriment of other private competitors in the industry. He may end up having dollars from CBN at heavily discounted rates, get concessions on taxes and other unfair advantages based on the excuse that Government has equity in it via NNPC.

Possible extortion by the secretly Shell owned NNPC.
