@OP, someone said follow your heart and do what you think is right for you. There is no guarantee that he may or may not do it again. Who bloody cares if he is the one you love There is no right or wrong for your ultimate decision.

Sometimes the heart knows things that the head will never understand and I bet he feels the same way. Fact is you guys need to talk about it and make each other understand what's to happen in case the situation repeats itself especially in marriage.

I am personaly against the idea of a cheating spouse, but then again we cant control everything, all the best.

It's a horrible situation. I don't know why guys would tend to cheat so often just before their wedding.

When a man cheats, it means there is something that he is after. It suggests that there is something he is looking for that you do not have especially if he doesnt have a history of cheating. Cheating can however be set-off by other reasons such as pornography.

A broken relationship is always better than a broken home. You must forget any thoughts of marriage for now and focus on whether the relationship is worth it or not. It is divinely encouraged to give him a second chance but you also need to sit down with him and address the cause of the problem. He MUST come out clean as to why he cheated. His sincerity about it is a must.
If you believe you do not have the mental strength to go through it, call is quits and re-order you precious life.

Who is saying that a man and a woman in a relationship shouldn't love each other wholly and fully? Yes there may be someone out there who will love her and her body, he may be better than her present boyfriend but i guarantee you he WILL cheat on her also. He may not just get caught.

I think women who come here to talk sh*t about men not cheating in a relationship need to get a few facts straight about men's sexual make up. Can you explain why many ladies dread being raped by a guy no matter how good looking or hot he is whereas many many guys PRAY to be raped on a DAILY basis by different hot women?
Second fact is that men  distinguish between girlfriend materials (girls they just want to fork and maybe spend on) and wife materials (the one they want to be the mother of his kids and the keeper of his home). The OP strikes me as the guy's wife material. That is why he's making concerted efforts to get her back.

For the second emboldened sentence and assuming you are resident in naija i can bet on one or more of the following:
1. You are not in a relationship.
2. If you are and your guy aint cheating on you, then your guy is broke or with a low sex drive or ladies don't find him attractive or all of the above.
3. If you are in a relationship and your guy's got money and a normal sex drive, then i ASSURE you he is cheating on you weller. He is only doing so behind your back. Make delibrate efforts to investigate like the poster did and you will be shocked.

Definitely no one likes to be cheated on in a relationship or marriage. I agree with you on that. But babe, this is NAIJA and not Yankee or Europe. Consequently different rules apply based on our differences in tradition. Whether you like it or not, there is this bias our society confers on a guy regarding cheating in a relationship. For example a guy can very well have more than one wife. But have you ever heard of a woman with more than one husband in naija? you chose to dismiss the differences in sexual hormones in both males and females because it's convenient for you to. can you dismiss the tradition issue? What you say is very true, but unfortunately women have lacked the back bone to say NOOOO!  to a cheating partner. Its gotten to a point where I cant blame men anymore. Women are to be blamed because we allowed it. I know for a fact that if the girl was the one who had cheated, guy would not have any second thoughts about giving her the boot. Men are very proud and assertive beings, which are the qualities that us women lack immensely.

All I am saying is that if she decides to carry on with the wedding/marriage I wont judge her.
