Thank you Dr. Goodluck Jonathan for stating the obvious. I understand you did not want to stir up emotions by going into the Civil War on what the Igbos did to the Niger-Delta people. Till now on June 21, the people of Abonema celebrate the victory against the Biafran occupation in that region

https://www.bbc.com/pidgin/tori-44592314

The Niger-Delta people will not be dominated by the Igbos especially not in the 21st century. Biafra will end up being landlocked like Niger republic. God bless the federal Republic of Nigeria. The country I was born to know and love. With unity and diversity, we can make the black race proud. Only if we can unite, keep the hate aside and learn to tolerate each other without corruption.

Haba?, So na true say Biafra maitreat Niger Deltans.
O serious gan o.

Fake news:
1. The GEJ that I know will never get involved in this yeye struggle openly.

2.GEJ messages are always full of ambiguous grammar, this one isn't.

3.No true born ijaw blood will ever say this nonsense

A true ND blood dislike Nigeria and it's ruling class, our problem with Ipob is that they want to forcefully annex us

How is Ipob forcefully annexing the Niger Delta?

The ss and se had long been part of the old eastern region b4 all this division. So it came naturally, when the clamour for biafra began.

Secondly, the Igbos would not hold any region who wants to leave down d way hausa/fulani is doing like it is a do or die affair.

The most important thing is, let everyone unite and get the freedom first, then every other thing will follow. It's d most logical thing to do right now than all ds tribal fighting.

IPOB doesn't have intentions of forcefully annexing anybody.

What then is the essence of the referendum they are clamouring for?

In my opinion, the igbos would be the binding Force that binds all the Niger-Delta minorites together.

You can't even differentiate an Ijaw man from an Igbo man in onitsha, every body are living peacefully. The North are the common enemies.
Igbos are peaceful people, they have never been a history of hostility between Ijaws and Igbos even before the whites came. We do business and cohabitate peacefully.

The hatred on Igbo is what I don't understand, because I don't know what Igbos has done in particular to any minority in history, despite being a major ethnic group.

During referendum, you guys can vote not to be Biafra.

I'm even tired with Nnamdi Kalu that is trying to form allegiance with ancient neighbors that doesn't care.

Niger deltans (excluding Igbo states)
Would never accept to be part of Biafra because of the many ethnic groups there

The earlier the Igbos realize this and Restructure their agitation to only the 5 eastern States the better for them

Secondly the only way the majority N-Deltans would want to be part of Biafra is if the system of Government proposed is a constitutional federal republic (like the USA) where all States manages and controls it resources without interference from the federal level and would have to elect a prime minister who would be rotated around the ethnic groups for a specified period of time

Is a good thing that somebody like goodlock has spoken about biafra openly addressing the feelings of the niger deltas as things is goi
ng on in nigeria currently i am sure the igbos want biafra by all means even without the niger deltas it is a good thing for nigerians for the allocations given to the s e states will stop and biafra will pay nigeria for using their water ways to bring in their goods i think is settle
let the nigeria government allow igbos to gain their biafra in peace not to use force on them since they have niger delta with them.

The difference between GEJ and many of you is that GEJ knows the stakes, you don't.
