One of the inmate s who escaped from Owerri Correctional Center, on the 5th of April, 2021 at 2am has been re-arrested in Lagos.

The 34years old suspect, identified as Oyemachi Maduabuchi, was arrested by Lagos State Police command after allegedly stealing a sim card and memory cards.

He, was said to have ecaped from Owerri Correction Center after the jailbreak that occurred on the 5th of April, 2021.

the suspect, flee Owerri the same day to meet with his mother in his Village at Onitsha, Anambra state.
the mother, whose name was not mentioned, later linked him up with his elder sister, Oyemachi Amarachi of Customs Bus Stop who thereafter invited him to Lagos on the 19th of April, 2021

He was said to have been kept in the sister’s house where she used to lead him to church for special deliverance service.

In the process, after an all night program on the 20th of April, 2021 at the Bride Assembly Church, Ijesha Area of Lagos State, the suspect allegedly stole a sim card and memory cards of a member of the church whose name was not mentioned before he was eventually arrested and the stolen items recovered from him.
