Igbos had more weapons in 1967 from the various military units. What’s available now are weapons looted from police armoury or from the checkpoints.

That would’ve been effective but some of those weapons fell into the wrong hands. We saw young men tying red cloths around their heads, necks and waists carrying AK 47s...those people are piece meal to the Nigerian Army.
