Alkebulan kor, Afamefuna ni.

You don't even know what "Alkebulan" stand for anyway. Use Google. That's the name of Africa during the ancient time. I really don't care about a name change. It won't change anything. This damn God-forsaken country need to breakup. Too much blood is being spilled.

Who tell you all Easters want Biafra again? Speak for yourself or the SE States first. Y dragging other tribes in Niger Delta into your Biafra? Did General Ironsi & Odumegwu Ojukwu not sentenced Jasper Adaka Boro for execution before he was rescued by General Gowon. Is the freedom that he was asking for different from what Ojukwu later demanded for? You want freedom for your people yet you wish to keep other people in bondage?

Can you educate some us about this issue?

Our problem in Nigeria is not the name, it isn't even unity. Our problem is lack of purpose. Nigeria doesn't have a goal.

We still need to change the name, this is important!

Your point stands correct though.

My brother names are powerful. What you call yourself influences how you behave.... Britain carried out multiple genocides yet calls itself "Great" and ppl believe they are great whereas they are murderers

I agree with the proposal. We must stop answering the name given to us by white men who didn't mean well....

Independent States of the Sahara....

Your monicker looks familiar. Are you 'abbashiru' or something?

Anyway, if it's not you, it's fine. I agree with you. I think this is the sentiment behind the proposal, too. I mean, I know so many countries that changed their colonial names, ALONGSIDE DEVELOPMENT and such, that are doing well now. But changing the "slave" name was a step in the right direction for these countries.

Weed... When they might have taken weed, they come up with nonsense proposals... What's the point of changing a country name that has been in existence for a very long time? Ooh what a bunch of lunatics...

Which language is Alkebulan

Unfortunately, it is Arabic. Although, it was the original name of Africa before the colonization.

I know Northerners will like it than a secular name like United African Republic.
