Imagine what the government is making a graduate with a strong Second Class Upper from a reputable Federal University in Nigeria do. Due to a no 6-digit paying job (because of widespread Nepotism), I get to rent a one-room apartment where we share a pit toilet and a dilapidated bathroom

So, instead of being responsible you are here blaming government as if some of your same graduate colleagues are not doing better than you while some are much worse off? Be there o, you here. May your pit not become bush! 1 Like 1 Share |

How is the government responsible for it? It's your choice to either rent the apartment or leave it. If you cannot use ur hand & brain to work out ur salvation, no one else can do that for you Bro. The truth is that government can not provide employment for all it citizens but should provide an enabling & favouring environment for private individuals to set out SME business which is a booster to a growing economy, which our government has failed us. 2 Likes 2 Shares |

Include 'graphic pictures' in the topic, please. You need to be considerate. All these posts might chase away people who could give you jobs. They could be afraid you wouldn't mind posting whatever happens btw you & them on NL |

budaatum:but.... We spent a lot through school. Government is expected to provide jobs or create an enabling environment for investors to come in and create jobs for us 1 Like 1 Share |

WailingGraduate: Government don't give a flying fuq about us and we must not delude ourselves that they do. Government is not our mother and father, WailingGraduate, and we are not their pickin. Perhaps it will change when we organise and elect a government that cares and is competent enough to create an environment in which we can create jobs for ourselves, but we just are obviously not yet there. Just look at the salary they pay themselves and tell me whom they really care about. Their children go to school abroad and they buy medical care you can only imagine in your wildest dreams, so how can you possibly think you are anywhere on their priority list except perhaps at the bottom or when they need your vote? Wake up and realise that the only person who gives a fuq about you is you and yourself alone. And your neighbours, whom you must care about too because you are in it with them together. Na beg I de beg you please. |
