...but it was freedom of speech when kanu the terrorist leader issued terrorist threats to kill Nigerians and destroy Nigeria and that did not violate Twitter rules and terms at all?

Why are they now deleting the terrorists tweets when they should have a long time ago even after the Nigerian government complained and asked for the tweets to be deleted?

Twitter got what it deserved and they should have been banned a long time ago

You people are too duplicitous and hypocritical for your own good.

I am not concerned whether twitter deleted Nnamdi Kanu's tweet or not. It is only sick, silly and shameful for a country or any individual to stoop so low as to comparing the tweet of a president to the tweet of an individual. If the government isn't okay with it, they should have also raised people like you to make complaints to twitter. Nigerians reported to twitter and twitter reviewed this and took actions against the president.

So you know I don't belong to the same tribe or region as Nnamdi Kanu and don't subscribe to his toutish reasoning. In every sense, the president was wrong and absolutely wrong to have tweeted that way or even speak about war. What war has he raised against boko haram, fulani herdsmen and even banditry? Insecurity has been the worst under his administration and yet, no single tough statement to show that he is the commander in chief. Instead, we are hearing of how they want to sponsor repentant boko haram for education abroad and how the government funds boko haram in the name of negotiations. A government that can negotiate with terrorist but makes ridiculous statements against another region.

Who is being hypocritical and duplicitous between the two of us? Face the matter objectively. Address the matter and not come up with wrong or biased view.

When you say freedom of speech it must apply to everyone. How can a foreign tech company decides the rules of a country.

This is an opportunity for Tech- savy youths to come up with something in place of twitter. The US is talking about their. Twitter owner is their citizen and one of their richest. They know how much he is contributing to their economy. If they support Nigeria or keep quiet, other Countries may follow suit. Don't take their statement as anything. They are not protecting your interest.

A THOUSAND BUHARI WOULD NOT SAVE THIS NATION SAYS THE LORD GOD OF HOSTS

This is what the Lord God of Hosts, said concerning the present state of the nation (Nigeria) in particular and Africa in general: A thousand Buhari wouldn’t save this nation except to leave it in the hands of few Muslims in the long-run, to share the nation among themselves and run it as their private enterprises and the scrambling had started. Nigerians should watch and see themselves being shared into the hands of few persons according to religions and regional lines...
