It’s always a wonder reading comments from people who say Nigeria is indivisible and must remain one.

On hearing/reading these comments, a person that isn’t familiar with the history of Nigeria might think Nigeria was formed through blood and sweat of its people and not through conquest by the British.

The British came in and conquered the space now known as Nigeria, eventually almagamating the northern and southern parts of this country.

So why do the same blacks who were conquered fight with all their might to REMAIN CONQUERED?

Why do some Nigerians fight to still have the chains around them, calling the creation of conquerors “indivisible”?

Reasonable blacks are trying to forge a new path forward, one of their own creation, yet those that claim to hate the white people and blame them for all black peoples problems will be the first to stifle any initiative to break away from a country created by the so called white monsters. You can’t eat your cake and have it too.

You can’t with one breath chide white people and in another breath claim Nigeria is indivisible. That will be a highly unintelligent position to take.

Why are you afraid of freedom?

Why are you afraid to chart your own course?

and today many black men on nairaland have proven my point with the talk about IPOB.

They claim that they must uphold this union forced on us by the British, against pleas from their own kind.

They know this country was formed by the British to benefit the British, yet they refuse to come together to work out a way forward for themselves.

The initial purpose of the company called Nigeria or Royal Niger company was to remit profits to the British. Still you act like you all came together to form a Nigeria with your own sweat and blood.



Funny enough, when the same British tell you to unban Twitter, you will tell them you are a sovereign country. A sovereign country created by them, sigh. You are talking back to your creator?
