Coastal Biafrans are made up Ijaws, Ogoni, Ibibios and many other tribes of the old Eastern Region that live predominantly on the coast.

Their agitation is for the actualisation of the Republic of Biafra. The group is led an Ijaw called Tumuno Tonye and an Ogoni called Onajuite. They also run 'Coastal Biafra TV'
