Judicial Workers Call Off Strike by oshozondii: 6:20pm On Jun 09, 2021
The Judicial Staff Union of Nigeria (JUSUN) has called off its nationwide industrial action.

The decision to call off the strike followed a meeting between JUSUN executives and the National Judicial Council (NJC) led by the Chief Justice of Nigeria (CJN), Justice Ibrahim Muhammad.

Both parties agreed that the strike should be called off in the interest of the nation and to give room for the implementation of agreements JUSUN reached with the Federal Government.

JUSUN commenced the strike on April 6 over the non-implementation of financial autonomy for the judiciary in the states.

I really feel for judiciary staffs.

State Executive Government won't allow Judiciary financial autonomy that easily, "no more free money for state governors to embezzle" I knew those governors thieves won't give in easily angry.

Sadly the strike expectation was not met, Jusun should not relent, give them 3 months if they don't fufill the agreement, go on another strike this time let it be of longer duration like the ASUU format undecided.

Imagine Judiciary staffs being paid meagre salaries why won't justice be expensive, this country is just shambles angry.

Yoruba nation is a must angry.

You are the f**l here angry.

I don't really blame you, you are probably an illiterate.

Growing up, we were told there are three arms of government, Executive, Legislature, and Judiciary.
Independent of each other.

Why should the judiciary be under the influence of the state governor.

Why should the judiciary finacial allocation be managed by the governor. - embezzlement undecided.

Why should the governor decide who takes top positions in Judiciary, like judge, magistrates etc. - quota sytem.

Why why why... angry
