No be today na. This our democracy celebration in honour of MKO Abiola. Yoruba fought for Nigeria's democracy alone while Igbos were doing ten thousands man march in solidarity for Abacha. So no be today.

Ten thousand or one million man march?

Yorubas have indeed put in so much to free and fair democratic governance in Nigeria.

Why some ibos we come here and says trashes. Are you aware some Nigerian did supported Ibos in during your BIAFRA protest.
I personally argued tirelessly while in Nigerian during one of the protest staged by pro- biafra group. I did sacrificed my sweat in support of Biafra Republic. To add more, presently in United Kingdom i cannot count the number of times i have supported the BIAFRA Movement despite the fact i am a Yoruba guy.
Furthermore, do you know how many IBOS have became gainfully employed through the help of my wife, who is also a Yoruba lady here in UK? Also, do you know how many Ibos my wife have accomodated for months here in Uk?
My question is how many Yorubas you have help in ur life?
Stop uttering hatred speech.
Those that promote or does hatred speech against another tribe always end up loosing many good things .
My prayer for you is for the Almighty God to deliver you from this attitude.

thanks for your support during the biafran protest, but the igbo can not join your june 12th protest. Enjoy your abiola's day.

It would have been foolish for any south easterner to join YORUBAS in this protest....Nnamdi Kanu would have used the avenue to call on Ibos to destroy yoruba properties like he did during endsars......we better protest alone than protest with Ibos that have been brainwashed by Nnamdi Kanu

Pray tell wetin concern endsars with Tinubu properties.....

However, the situation in SouthWest is different as protesters are occupying different cities, with security operatives struggling to maintain law and order
This papers are hellbent on causing anarchy..

No sensible Igbo person should join the back stabbing Yoruba chameleons on any protest. They will only end up betraying igbos and siding with their Fulani masters to attack them. End SARS was not long ago nah, didn't we see the worse kind of chameleonish behavior by Yorubas? They ended up turning it into an "Igbos are destroying Lagos" agenda. The blunt truth is that Igbos will be used as a scapegoat by the army and other security agencies if they join the protest and the Yorubas will turn around and support their Fulani masters in their brutality against Igbos. Every wise igbo person should stay away from any protest that has to do with one Nigeria. Yorubas and other one Nigeria tribes can go and protest for their one Nigeria.

Why do you Easterners always see other region like a big problem to you guys.. You guys do blame game all the time, instead of identifying your faults and correcting it..
So, you believe all those protesting in the west are only Yorubas, keep deceiving yourselves.. Close your eyes and be seeing who betrayed who.. In the history of the west or the Yorubas, no region accommodates the Easterners compared to the Yorubas,.. It can nvr be your faults, when many of you are born in the '90s when the Northern military rulers have already scraped history from school nd leading the people blindly without history to fall back on instead, you guys are fed with lies, using dat to create division between the east nd west.. Divide and rule, by the north.. God save us!

The protest is about the current situation of the country.

The protest isn't about Yoruba or Igbo or Hausa, it's about bad government. Beware of propagandists.

Beware Nigerians. This is the time to know and understand the true identity of those who cause tribalism on here, they are paid agents, they are neither from east nor west, some are not Nigerian. They have more than twenty monikers, they would create tribal related topics and make tribal comments with different monikers to cause chaos between southerners. Though, they have no conscience but you can try to educate them or better ignore them. They are easy to identify, use your head brothers.
They dominate this platform. They are evil and restless.
We understand you, but check this, during the endsars protest, everyone down south joined, infact, the very day it started, it's like it started all over the south including here in the east, but problem now is, after the protest turned south, everybody blamed Igbos for the destruction, saying the hoodlums were Igbos and that we want to destroy Lagos, reason we joined the protest......this narrative continued for a while like it was a mere propaganda, but surprisingly, people started buying it, any small thing on twitter they will attack you saying you are Igbo and ur people wanted to destroy Lagos (since we cant develop east) but did not succeed.......we trusted them but look how it ended, this is what we have been suffering in this country.......they hate us they don't love us, they use us as scape goats, why then should we trust and fight alongside them?

The only way to win this struggle is for the Igbos and yorubas to set aside their differences and fight for freedom.

Yes that is true. But SE people have learnt a lot from history. When SE want to fight they go all out for it.

The Yoruba are fund of withdrawal in the face of threat even among themselves. That happened during the war and we see it happening even within the Yoruba communities.

I have seen cases where everyone will agree to do a particular thing and when it is time for action you will discover that you are alone. If you ask person A, he will deny he was not there at all. However, we have some brave Yoruba people. But they're not much.

Very soon I expect people in Nairaland to start blaming the igbo people for this current protest as they did during endSARS protest. They will claim it is the igbo that lead the protest to destroy Lagos. You will start seeing a lot of hate talk against the igbo.

It is wise for the igbo to be quiet because they would be blamed at the end of the day

. Stop giving yourself headache sir, we know them well, all they have in their vein is division and tribalism, they are afraid to be on there own, so joining yoruba and igbo in tribal war is their ultimate goal achievement in life, they don't have any future ahead apart from one Nigeria, they will rather die as one Nigeria than allow freedom of choice for people that want to move forward, check their linage background is all about domination oppression hatred division and religions of nonsense, their heart is full of bitterness towards other peaceful tribe, and we igbos will teach them the language that they will understand, which is death, the only Language a fulani terrorist understand is death, faithfully by the grace of God death shall be there portion, they are the curse tribe of Ishmael by God which every tribe from different continent wants to get rid off, and our God Almighty will surely prevail.

As usual, the protests came and went, and most Nigerians, even in the South West stayed at home.

Let's be honest. Nigerains don't want change...they want stability. And as long as they get stability, nothing will change.

Buhari will go in 2023, and APC or most likely a new guy from PDP will take over. Many of the people chanting Buhari must go will switch sides...and chant praises for the new leader.

And Nigeria won't get better.

We saw the same thing under GEJ and under many past leaders. Protests don't change much...but polticial mobilization without giving up does.

bUT LET'S BE HONEST...THINGS ARE NOT ALL RIGHT IN NIGERIA.
