Buying Multi Million Naira Properties In Nigeria, Is It Worth It? by generationz(f): 1:11pm On Jun 13, 2021 |
My dear property gurus, ao, I was just scrolling through Instagram and I stumbled on a property page where lovely houses at Lekki worth over a million dollars (500m naira) were advertised and I'm wondering if it's worth it buying such $1m, #1bn houses in Nigeria with the way naira keeps falling daily with no hope of it ever getting better or to just keep the money in an offshore account while it accumulates interest? What about the option of buying properties abroad while one lives in Nigeria? Note that many of these houses also look the same and very boring from the outside, lol. Note: I'm talking about spending that much money on just one house but you can also give answers in terms of buying several properties worth above $250,000 in Nigeria.

Most people that buy those properties in Lekki do not buy them because they are worth it. It is just a store of value for them. Majority are your thiefing politicians, drug dealers, Tier 1 yahoo boys and the rest. Systematic money laundering. Don’t bother your pretty head over it. 5 Likes |

Why do the poor always concern themselves with rich people's affairs? Oh, okay! No job in Nigeria that's why. I took my leave. |
