Nigeria's Minister for Labour, Chris Ngige has said that President Muhammadu Buhari is very 'afraid' of breaching the Nigerian Constitution, POLITICS NIGERIA has learned.

Ngige, who appeared on Channels on Monday, stated that Nigerians want to 'ride' President Buhari to death because of the 'latitude' he gives them.

In his words; "There must be a limit to Politicking, If a government has done well, if a president has done well, you should give him accolades in the areas he has done well. Areas he has not done well, point them out and discuss."

"This president is a democrat, this president is so afraid of breach of the constitution of any law, I'm even stronger than him in terms of that. He is so circumspect about what the law says".

He continued further; "Even President Obasanjo can he give you this latitude? He will not. I know him"

"This President is now a willing horse and you people want to ride him to death, No!".

Really? Bu he wasn't afraid of removing the chief justice of the Supreme Court, without regard for the constitution. Lest i forget. His government has already breached the constitution multiple times, this year only.

I think ngige should go and read section 36 of the nigerian constitution, section 15, section 19, section 32 and section 41 etc. I know that Nigeria is a multi ethnic and religious country, where people who enforce the law and people in power do not read. But i believe that at least the members of this our government. Should put in place programs to sensitive citizens of their rights and liabilities.
conclusion

Nigerians don't read, so how will you expect them to know the provisions of the constitution and when it was breached or wasn't breached. Social media is not everything.

This is the obvious case, else how would a cannibalistic rapist like cownu be given bail? How would Makinde illegally sack LG CHAIRMEN inspite of supreme court's ruling?

nairavsdollars:
But he has breached it severally with no consequences

He only breeched looters code ( your primary concern), which seeks to wreck havoc on Nigeria's treasury.

SMH @this low budget minister.
This present clueless leader (Buhari) and his minions(Senate & Ministers) are evil !
So in his opinion the hardship in the country is mild because I don't comprehend what he means by Buhari has done well. Someone that keeps breaching the constitution as regards oppressive actions even against the judiciary!
Well I'm not surprised after all I remember the ease @which this low budget minister was passed without any scrutiny by the senate reason for his entitlement mentality..SMH.

We need young visionary leaders abeg and not these present charlatans parading themselves.

Is it the same man who wants to reenact the 1964 grazing routes decree of northern Nigeria as a constitutional gazette that should be implemented nationwide he is talking about or another Buhari?
Ngige should forget sycophancy, even his people in the South East won't believe him
