Reminiscing, after a couple of years, i finally understand the grievances of millions of the unemployed. i mean one can literally feel the sting as soon as you are thrusted into the cold waters of reality after service.

Some people advocated saving allowee for the rainy days. Without mincing words, having obligations and being the sole facilitator of your well-being comes at a price of never having the privilege of having your money to yourself.

So then, what do you do? you graduated with the right honors and somewhat deemed intelligent but the course you seem to be charting has no longitude & latitude.

It is easy to be poetic about joblessness and talk about the mess we are in with the present Nigeria while some wallow in depression, constantly doubting their ability.

Prices have doubled, Food is for the rich.

it is as bad as it gets, is your faith waning or you remain staunch in your faith of a bright future? How do you pay bills?

How do you cope with the depression and seeing friends well on their way to that which you covet yourself?

Do you feel things or its just me, myself and my thoughts.

share your thoughts...........
I'm a boss lady.

30K? I currently earn 16k as a teacher in a private school with my BTech degree in Physics/Electronics. Might I add that I am the first born of the family and currently solely responsible for the school fees of three siblings, and to a large extent, their feeding too? The depression alone no be here. I had such high hopes of securing a job after service. May God help us in this country.
Oga I will advise you to save small money, then quit your job and learn "hand work". Learn how to fix car and house AC, tilling work or driving (private driver). You will thank me later.

That is the more reason why I am calling on all nairalanders to pls come to my aid. I've been jobless after sch. Life is really tormenting for me after relocating to a new environment without a job for almost a year now. I'm unable to feed presently, I am depressed and need your help no matter how menial or humbling the job may be, I am ready to do. Pls help me.
Someone recommended me for employment though, and I have already scaled through the first and second stages of the interview. I'm at the third and final stage now but I can't afford transport fare to go. I sincerely need your assistance brothers and sisters. I know am not alone in this, a lot of Nigerians are going through a lot. But pls find a place in your heart to help me with funds for transport so I can travel for the interview. Thanks and be blessed. Amen

March 2021, I had a deep recourse on this, like for real. How was I able to survive a full year out of job despite having to cater for bills, maintenance and it's likes.
All I could just say, IT'S BEEN GOD!

As a 68 year old man, I was retired from work; since the age of retirement is 65. I did everything to keep my job including falsifying my age and dressing younger by sagging my trousers but still yet, I was retired. My wives, girlfriends, side chicks and multiple kids kept complaining and even advised me to do yahoo. I was thinking of becoming a gigolo, but i'm old and my waist is already stiff. It's no longer as flexible as lalasticlala's own. I wonder if Flexherbal has some enhancements for me to take.
But, here are some things I did: Investments(speak to a trusted individual about this). I also learned some skills to bring in some survival income, because Nigeria is all about survival now. I eat MOSTYLY at home, rather than always buying take outs, I could just get the foodstuff and cook at home at a cheaper rate. I reduced my electricity consumption, by also getting other means of light including embracing natural light(s). I made a budget and I stuck to it. I do not take loans, and if I get into debts, I start making plans immediately to greatly reduce them or pay them off. I watch my spending habits i.e I buy what I NEED, not just what I WANT. I'm considerate/open to Substitute commodities. I'm considerate of my home expenses e.g. why do I have to use the generator for hours when all I use it to power is the Fans and bulbs? I could just go Natural. I sell off things I don't need.If you drink or smoke, then you've got to GREATLY reduce or even STOP, cause they're money consuming. That's equivalent to smoking and drinking your money away. I find ways to reduce my bills. I also consider my transportation costs and the amount I spend to entertain myself. I enjoy my self once a while though.

Hahahaha

Who told you Lalasticlala has flexible waist?

As far as I am concerned, Lalasticlala only has Snake waist
