I think it's time people picked a different date on the calendar to 'celebrate' deadbeat dads, mums that are dads and sperm donors.
Today is strictly for fathers. Leave Father's Day for fathers, biko.

If your husband, baby daddy or father is a nuisance, kindly ignore the day and move on please, because we already have enough days in the calendar celebrating women and girls.

Thanks for dropping by.

Today is also World Refugee Day so the fathers don't have a full day to themselves.

Sad.

Check all of them. They couldn't even stay in their matrimonial homes so why won't they follow men to drag the day? It's so irritating

The crazy thing is that these people that do not want fathers to enjoy their day in peace already have April First for themselves.

I made a diary post the other day. When you spend all your time as a single mother taking shots at your ex, you won’t have the grace to move on. No man would even want to move on with you.

Apart from having enough days to celebrate women, I think it reduces the quality of a woman to attribute manly qualities or titles to herself.

A mother is strong, a queen is strong and the vagina is one of the strongest creation. When you refer to yourself as a KING, it means you subconsciously think being a queen isn’t good enough.

I would never refer to myself as a king or a father. I even take it as a backhanded compliment when people tell me I drive like a man or comment like one. I don’t reply or rate such compliments. I am a woman with a vagina and that remains it till the end of time.

Hear hear. I only realized the bolded when I watched a video of a woman giving birth. Pushing a baby out of that tiny hole is a superhuman feat. I felt cold sweat break out all over me when the little human popped out and since then, I am content being called a woman because WE ARE STRONG.

Anyone who wants to call herself a king should keep living in self delusion

To me, I think these women are pained and wouldn't want to move on. Let the fathers be. It's a once-in-a-year something.. Mothers have so many days in a year to celebrate.

We ought to celebrate the people in our lives as often as possible.

Hopefully, this golden message (especially the bold) would be understood in time.

Being a woman is enough!

When you add 'strong', 'independent', 'boss' bla bla bla, you are unconsciously saying that the state of womanhood is deficient so you need to add other qualities to 'measure up'.

Surprised that poco made such a true and profound statement.

Also, the bolded is quite insightful.

Yep it’s not a compliment.
Same as those who assign femininity to men who they believe are sub par. Saying things like “stop arguing like a woman”. Etc

It denigrates womanhood.

Keep being surprised undecided

Some of you are very funny. Because someone doesn’t often agree with your POV doesn’t mean you should be ‘surprised’ and suddenly feel like they now make sense once they say something you agree with.

Maybe your bias has been clouding your ability to see the truth in her other posts? No?

This is what most people don't know.
Like, I don't really understand why they do that.
..
Even some men who see females (in totality) as some kind of lower version of males, I usually wonder what made them to be thinking like that.
I mean, the roles of the men in nature are clearly different from that of women, and none of the genders can do their own roles perfectly without the need of the other gender.

Keep having a chip on your shoulder.

Poco and Zzor have been efficiently divisive on this forum, adding nothing non-inciendary & meaningful to discourse between men and women.

Imagine thinking feminists want women to be the fathers in their kids lives grin. How and why? It makes no sense: That’s how far y’all have chosen to twist the narrative in your fight against women’s liberation.

I promise you tonto and the rest of the “momdads” probably don’t identify as feminists. it’s just lazy intellectual approach to classify all women you don’t agree with as feminists or claim feminists can’t condemn a female bad behavior.

Women don’t have to be pandering to y’all all the time for you to believe them when they say “hey this lady is wrong”.
