babyfaceafrica:of course Nin is necessary. But we're scared at the rate at which millions of our neighboring countries now have access to our Nin, due to voting. Northern government & APC has done the worst.. Pantami |

NGpatriot:Do you mean youth should take over power in a country where anyone can be rigged in without considering vote and there's nothing the populace can do ? |

But Twitter Facebook et all was what put those in power, in power. It's a shame that most people cannot think for themselves. Whatever N authority figure says is sacrosanct because they hve outsourced their thinking! babyfaceafrica: |

We can't do without comparing. We were almost better than South Korea, Malaysia and China in the 50s and early 60s. Can you boast of same today? How many creative youth did Buhari appoint into cabinet during his first democratic regime? Have you heard where the now developed countries were calling on their youths to join politics before their could pregress. People like Nehru of India and the man from Singapore were in their old agies when they used their leadership skill to design a new course for a prosperous future for their country. Nigerian leaders are more interested in oppressive and complacent gestures while the politicians keep looking for the next election thereby creating mushroom policies that die when they're still in their respective office. Would you say you're proud of where we presently are among the league of Nations? Where are visions 2010, 2020? NGpatriot: |

tracychelsea13:As in most of their comment dey pain me aswear .... They'll rather rant on social media than partake in politics (either by voting or joining a political party). How will d country get better if all we do is complain. Their is a popular saying dat most voters are not on social media (I'm starting to think its true). |

Introduce electronic voting and see if voters turnout will not increase. Well that's if you really meant well for this country. My thought tho |

Theunbothered: 1) Sowore is not a youth 2) Even if other youths fail, a youth can still succeed. 3)You don't have to start your political career by winning the presidential election. 4) You can wield political powers without necessarily occupying an elective position. |

Vitally123: My brother, but the youths can buy flashy cars and flaunt them on Instagram. They build mansions for themselves and their parents and show them off on social media. They go on holiday to exotic destinations and show off the pictures on social media. Many of them are people of means. 1 Like |

oyatz: 1) Yahaya Bello will be the same age as Sowore when he contested and he is being pushed as a youth candidate. Previously anyone who wanted to be president had to be 40 to contest, now 35. 2) That is why I asked if you voted for a youth, obviously you went with an old cargo who has been part of the problems of Nigeria since 1966. 3) Youths can start at any point they please as it is allowed by law. The question is will you vote for them? Clearly not based on the litany of excuses you are giving. 4) Like what exactly? What power would a youth have without being elected and given the authority to change laws? Such "power" is completely worthless in the Nigerian system. |

babyfaceafrica: Do American politicians use cultists to attack their opposition supporters? Do they shed blood on election day like Nigeria? Do they have to belong to one occult group or the other to be able to win elections? Do they go to shrine seeking diabolic means of empowerment? If you are close to politicians, you'd understand.Even if it is local government level. I love the seas |
