Honestly, Okowa is trying in asaba.. Those places in the picture have always been like that since time immemorial due to poor planning at the beginning. Anyway, Okowa has been able to keep the water that gather there at bay...

Just 10mins after rainfall, you will not see any of that there...

Forget story... Okowa na Man!

Exactly, just few minutes after the rain stops, the flood goes off. On road and drainages, Okowa is really trying

Outrightly bad, to see this on pictures.

Nigeria is so sick and yet at the hospital, two things happens to a sick or dieing patients. It's either she dies or she's get treated accordingly.

Both this incumbents and previous administration involved in Nigerian government are all colossal and monumental failure, to lead Nigerian through a progressive path is not rocket science. We need the youths of this country to wake up to join politics, as this might strongly help to channel different styles of governance. Nigeria can only be more worse if care, accountability, leader ship skills, consistutional reforms, and other vices is not adhere to strictly .

The heavy downpour has left owners of vehicles and tricycles downcast as mud water entered their engines at Nnebisi road, Asaba.

Saloon cars could be seen totally submerged in the surging mud water as owners tried tirelessly to maneuver their way through the flood.

This is the same capital city that has gulped billions of naira from the state coffers for the execution of flood control projects

You guys love measuring manliness in what is not supposed to be. Asaba has always been this flooded anytime it rains. The worst then use to be Okpanam road. Uduaghan and Okowa has expended billions of Naira in channelisation of the water but no good result because most of the money are looted. It's a shame that the 'best' Governor Delta has had From 1999 till date is the kleptomaniac Ibori. We shouldn't be shifting blames when our ineptitude Governors fail to perform. Asaba has River Niger to channel his water too but lack of drainage in most part and poor drainages on the other part caused this.
Odidigboigbo:
That road is not bad, it just excessive rainfall that course that. it happened everywhere in the world. I can give a series of video of similar nature from USA and UK.

This is one thing about Asaba that everyone living there has gotten use to. Once it rains, be rest assured you will swim your way to wherever you are going to. And the water does glow out o.
Yes, I swam that mud some years back. It was a regular thing once the rainy season comes.you can't avoid it whether you drive of treck, you must experience it.

with River Niger right there yet their streets get flooded each time it rains. They can't channel and the people don't help. They drop waste indiscriminately.

Stop all these pettiness, are you saying there is no drainage on that road? If the citizens block the water channels, how is that the fault of government? This was as a result of heavy downpour since Sunday in Asaba, visit that road now if you will see the floods. Those areas are waterlog areas just like Island axis of Lagos, little rain, flood will be everywhere, that does not mean there is no drainage or the road was badly constructed, it's due to the soil texture. Lekki- Epe Road in Lagos is one of the best roads in Nigeria, when there is heavy downpour, visit that road. What you should concern yourself with, is how long does the flood last after the rainfall.

I blame Asaba indigenes for this nonsense. The past government are also complicit. They looked on while all the interiors roads, drainages and waterways were getting sold to highest bidders and buildings getting constructed on them without doing anything.

The Okowa administration has spent billions on construction of Underground drainages but that's obviously not enough to curtail the excessive flooding
