tensazangetsu20:OK. I think I understand your point. You know I made sense, but you feel the issue is that Nigeria is just a stubborn nation which will not change. Hmmmm! Anyway, if it will not cost so much, while we are still in Nigeria, we can do it. Before you relocate, it will be in your resume. This is my point. I am not saying you should not relocate. If I tell you to remain here, I am evil. Believe me. qtguru:I am not disputing it that Nigeria may not get better. I am moving out too guy, and very soon cos I cannot continue staying in this Nigeria. Actually, I regretted returning permanently in the first place. I should just be visiting and contributing from far. But projects must go on is my point. Nothing stops you from contributing before you leave Naija or after. My point is that, let us encourage ourselves to keep going on. Do your part, and when you have the opportunity to move, then move. Others will take over from you. But doing nothing and just aiming at leaving is what I frown at. And if we do nothing, let us not discourage others who want to still try. If I tell you mt story and how many have been able to do things and made positive changes in this life just via my articles, you will understand. I keep getting testimonies daily. And if you know how many people I give free advice to daily, hmmm.. I encourage you to leave if you habe the opportunity. I have not told anyone to stay behind. But let's use tech to counter these greedy old men. 2 Likes |

tensazangetsu20:Do not say so. If you learn AI or data science well, please get in touch even if you are abroad. The salary there is $130,000 per annum, bros, you can make times10 of this if you execute a project here. I know what I am saying. It's just the brains I am assembling. When I gat my team, we will do wonders. And I know also that I must operate from outside cos like you said, this nation kill dreams. They will deliberately do it if they see I am trying to prevent them from looting our money. They can even assassinate good people. 1 Like |

PeaceJoyLove:nice write up, I love this data collection stuff as I also believe this data would help in making better decisions, that's why I do not blame mark Zuckerberg during the Cambridge analytical scandal. But we also have to agree that this data are only useful if there is a buyer or if it would help you make decisions to create something. Like this scanning the sambisa forest for terrorist hide outs, this information is very useful but also not useful if there would be no use of it.For example, If I on my own scan the sambisa and find the terrorists hide out, you and I but know,it's not my job to flush out the terrorists but the military but what if the military is reluctant, what if they are no weapons or technology to flush out this criminals, wat of corrupt officials.this information would just be a waste of time.we also have to note that life is not black or white, this terrorists could v technology to prevent there location from getting revealed, I have read cases of where the Taliban's hide under rocks when the u.s planes patrol there heat sensors can't be picked by the planes and drones. But then this information is useful because it could help the military know better about possible escape routes of the and road networks of the terrorists, the terrain and topography of the place so they can make a formation and if there are stuffs like swamps, quicksands, this would prevent the military from walking into a death trap. The knowledge of this data could help the military navigate and Even fight blindly. Then again,if I could collect data of possible treasures beneath the sambisa forest and I could convince some private peoplevor Even the govt that they would earn triple their investment if they make a deal with the government to finance the war against terrorism and mine the treasures 1 Like |

PeaceJoyLove:Maybe if I become a salesforce architect I can make 500k per year too. I am already a certified developer and I am getting LinkedIn hits everyday. I don't just know why I just don't see the hype with artificial intelligence. I need to see someone make big money from it before I am convinced because all the guys I know personally in that field are as broke as Bleep. 1 Like |

Johnwick64:Weapon Vs Technology: 1. Weapon - Military has got it. Tje budge we have is enough to buy sophisticated weapon. But you are right corruption is there. And this is why we need tech. 2. Technology - this is what they dont have, and this is what AI and data scientist will do. Robotic engineering is part of the job. Aerial scanning is part of it. When we talk of AI, we are talking about intelligence and then we write algorithms based on what data scientists come up with. They go together. We can put scanners everywhere and control them far away. This helps us monitor those places foreign choppers land to supply Boko Haram weapons. We know before they even leave and intercept them. And these scanners are not that expensive. This is my point. Its only weapons that are expensive. And when we habe such data, the miliatary will be forced to upgrade.
we also have to note that life is not black or white, this terrorists could v technology to prevent there location from getting revealed, I have read cases of where the Taliban's hide under rocks when the u.s planes patrol there heat sensors can't be picked by the planes and drones.
We keep upgrading. US has better scanners now. Also, the Talibans too keep upgrading themselves too. That's the game. But in Nigeria, we are static. We need to move. Lol. Now, you get it sir. The data we will get, you will be shocked what boys and girls will come up with. I am sure those who invented large Mainframe computers would be shocked what we have achieved if they had the opportunity to visit use. Bros....by 2050, I am sure if this world still exists....mehn....hahaha...let me not talk. |

tensazangetsu20: I dont get it. 500k usd per annum? Nice that you are a certified developer. You tried. I envy you. Not easy. Nice one bro. You will move out soon. You will. Now, back to Salesforce and AI. Do you know that AI is the intelligence behind salesforce? Also, the data you use there, dont you know it's data science which can make it work better? Salesforce is just an application just like self driving vehicles. Do you get it? This is why AI is the future. It is why I said perhaps you dont understand it. AI is just starting. This is a tech which will move us to 2050. Even Data science will soon get saturated, but not until maybe 2035 or maybe not. But AI which is about writing algorithms, hmmmmm.....this is the future sir. Sap sales Cloud, Microsoft Dynamics 365, Sugar Sell, Insightly, HubSpot Sales, Pipedrive, Oracle CX Sales, Pipeliner, Creatio, Nimble, Freshsales, Cloud-based Zoho CRM, Copper CRM, Zendesk Sel, Pega CRM, Infor CloudSuite CRM, Sage CRM, Bitrix24, Agile CRM, and NetSuite CRM are all competitors of salesforce. Do you know what this means? Having 20 competitors in that area? Salesforce is just an application or better I say it is a platform. AI is behind using it efficiently. This is why AI is powerful. It is not about app, but it is writing algorithms. It is why I said you dont understand it. You arent doing it to use it in Nigeria if you are looking for a job. See, sales force salary will drop very soon. But AI and Data Science will not stop in the next 10 years. Data Sceince might eventually drop, but AI will not, at least for the next 30 years. It may even be improved and something else comes up after it. The thing with Data Science and AI is that they are so related. Even data science starts getting easier, they can essily port to writing algorithms too. These two skills are what are used to build the brain behind Salesforce efficiency sir. AI can be implanted in Salesforce to make it better. Salesforce is a platform which can go down anytime. AI can be implemented anywhere and everywhere. 2 Likes |

PeaceJoyLove:The other crms are a joke compared to salesforce. The application itself is insane. Anytime I use it I wonder if those who made it have two heads and salesforce is very expensive to set up. You need to know programming to really be able to use salesforce. It's the largest in the CRM space and just growing insanely even google and Amazon use salesforce as CRM despite having the tools and resources to build their own. And for salesforce architects. It's one of the hardest IT exams. There aren't even up to 100 salesforce architects worldwide. That's why they command such high salaries. 3 Likes 1 Share |

tensazangetsu20:I do not doubt it. My point is that the real tech is not salesforce. Salesforce is just a platoform. I dont disagree with you that it is outstanding. But you dont expect the competitors to sit down. Salesforce will not enjoy Nairaland privileges. Sir, those competitors arent sitting down. Look at how whatsapp is copying virtually everything that had been available on telegram just cos they dont want to lose their customers. Yes, I know you can use program and codes in it. It is why you can use it with artificial intelligence. If you discover you can do something there, you may want to automate it, and it's an algorithm you will write. This is how you implement artificial intellignece in it. See, you create with AI. You make new things. This is all about AI. You move deep into many stuff and start tweaking. This is why AI is the future. It's not about hype, it is the future. 1 Like |

qtguru:Most of these stuff are now outsourced remotely. It may be hard for you. Let me give you a better strategy. Hustle hard and save cash. Then, go and apply for US, Canadian, or UK visa. See, you may not get US, and Canada may be hard too. But you will definitely get UK visa now if you have the requirements. And the main hindrance is your financial statement. And the good news is that you need like 28 days. Just make it 2 months even you will borrow. Do not say the cost of tuition is expensive ooo. Just do it and go to school. Pay the tuition fees and graduate. You can easily stay in these three nations now . Save well. Go for it. After getting there, you will start getting better jobs. Trust me. This is worth doing. You may wait endless for programming or tech job opportunities. Anyway, you can consult tensazangetsu20. I think he knows some ways you can get jobs in Germany and other places. 2 Likes |

PeaceJoyLove:I don't think qtguru will wait endlessly for tech opportunities. He's a senior developer O with more than 5 years experience even I that has just a year of experience is getting hits for relocation jobs. Last week I had 3 interviews all were relocation jobs. I am still in the middle of one and it's a for a very large company in the gaming industry. People are getting sponsored out of Nigeria everyday cause there's not enough people in the developed world who can code. 2 Likes 1 Share |

tensazangetsu20:Lol. But you know that the end game is to relocate. If I were you guys, I would add student visa options too. It is the easiest way to cut out, though it may be very expensive. The truth is that if you sre getting jobs here, if you relocate, you will get more. I would just endure attending the graduate school and then continue my side hustling. You will always get link in the universities to even step into bigger roles. Jobs there too are done remotely. |

PeaceJoyLove: A real ML engineer won't even have time to view this thread. Real talents aren't cheap, they know what they want and don't require ass whooping by anyone to get work done, though I admire your tenacity. We both know building for this market is like 1 - 10000 in odds even worse when outside finance and trading. The future that seems clear, and ready to grab to you. Doesn't even exist for d target market. All that exists now is hunger that's why an AVG Nigerian will still take 1kg bag of rice tomorrow to vote tinubu. I can write epistles like u normally do but the summary is poverty, corruption, lack of basic infrastructure or foundational technology infrastructure in d country will make anything almost impossible. I respect your optimism only if reality can be that easy, all start-up founders initially will be optimistic that things will work out, guess what stats says otherwise. Anyways, I am rooting for whatever you come up with eventually, I wish you best of luck.

PeaceJoyLove:The jobs I am talking about are relocation jobs. You get it, they sponsor your visa and bring you over. Well student visa was in my plan as I wrote the GRE earlier one this year but combining it with work and salesforce wasn't easy so I dropped it to focus fully on salesforce and just being a better programmer. People are getting sponsored and countries are laxing work visas for programmers now unlike other fields. |

If it's a six month bank statement showing inflow and outflow of cash with any total balance you want, it can be done. A guy that did it who is now in Poland did it for a 100k . Like the money would be in your account for real but you can't withdraw it. Renmoney charges might be much abeg. Once the time comes and you weigh your options you can let me know. 2 Likes |
