TETFUND RECEIVES REPORTS OF SUCCESSFUL PERFORMANCES OF EKSU SCHOLARS.

Over 20 academic Staff of Ekiti State University, Ado Ekiti ,who had just completed their PhD programmes from different Overseas Universities had been commended by the tertiary Education Trust Fund (TETFUND) Officials who visited the University for the administrative feed back of their academic training.

Speaking at the Council Chamber of the University, the leader of the team Mallam Ibrahim Anas ,said his team had come to listen to Scholars to evaluate their total experience while studying abroad, he
described the funding of academic staff training in both National and International universities as a commendable sacrifice of the Federal Government through Tetfund to promote scholarly expertise among academic staff of Nigerian Universities.


Mallam Anas added that the meeting was meant to Interact with the returned scholars on areas where the sponsorship needed improvement,and general assessment of Tetfund sponsorship.

The Scholars who gave individual reports of their academic and research experience from their various host Institutions thanked Tetfund and Ekiti state University for the opportunity given to them and thereafter submitted their dissertation and other documents of attendance to the Tetfund officials.

The Vice Chancellor, Prof Edward Olanipekun who was represented by the Deputy vice Chancellor,Prof Patrick Tedela reiterated the commitment of Ekiti State University on the training and re training of academic staff of the University for optimal performance.
