The Chairman of the Presidential Advisory Committee Against Corruption (PACAC), Prof. Itse Sagay (SAN) on Monday described the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) governors who are defecting to the ruling All Progressive Congress (APC) as highly unprincipled people and opportunists who want to remain relevant at all cost.

Speaking in an exclusive interview with DAILY INDEPENDENT, Sagay who blasted the National Caretaker Committee Chairman of the APC, Governor Mai Mala Buni of Yobe State also described the APC as an unprincipled party for welcoming the PDP governors into its fold.

Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi state and Ben Ayade of Cross Rivers have already defected from the PDP to APC while Governor Bello Matawalle of Zamfara will be formally received into the ruling party on Tuesday.

Yeye talk! Has any political party in Nigeria from the 1st republic till date been been corruption free before? Just talking as if he himself is a principled man.

Sagay should just accept that he failed as PAPAC chair given the ways he have defended the lawlessness of the government he is subserving even with it charade anti-corruption fight.
