You are not wrong by your assertions, t/T are the same, people only use the small letters for god to denote that the one or whatever they are referring to is inferior to the capital "G",GOD which they feel is supreme, that is just how they feel, but in reality they both mean the same thing whether big or small letters are used, so if capital G is used for Almighty God it can also be used for lesser God's or god's, so I guess he should have added humans or Satan to it.

Man = god scripturally speaking, but when man decides to worship man, the Man is termed with the capital G, to his Godship, Kim Jun un of North Korea is venerated as a God to his people, and some church goers also indirectly pay homage to there God man, they call the man of God and you see them fall on ground when he passes by, thereby he is truly a God of man = a God.

2. Jesus is a god or God but only referred in the holy scriptures as mighty God and not Almighty, note he has a name attached to him, Yeshua or Yehoshua as he is referred to on planet earth.

This is God speaking below God calls Jesus everlasting father and also says they will even call Jesus everlasting father in another place he said they will call Jesus Emmanuel which means Almighty God with us

There are lot of things that the Bible is quiet about. There are lots of thing that the bible is silent on.

On about '... how did God become God'. God did not become God because God is Self Existing.

God did not become anything, because in any case, God was not created, because God has no source, no maker

Nothing caused God to become God. Everything and everyone came to be because of the cause of something or someone, but only God is a Cause without a cause, meaning God is the uncaused Cause
