Obumneme's Visit Is A Celebration Of Nothing... by Chinuaj: 10:51am On Jul 04, 2021
There is no rule -- natural or manmade -- that compels siblings to be of same inclination politically or otherwise.

We have within our political circles stories of family members with differing political allegiances. The Bukola and Gbemi Saraki rivalry is still an ongoing thesis. Nearer home, the Andy and Chris Uba scenario is still playing out. In spite of all this, it has not inhibited the individual success of any of these political Actors. More recently, we have also witnessed the diverging political interest of the Etiabas -- while their Mother remains an APGA BOT member, her two Sons are feathering their political nests in two other separate political parties.

Therefore, there is nothing unusual to see Soludo's half brother live out his political convictions however uninformed it may appear. That Obumneme Soludo is spotted somewhere playing out what seem to be his own interest is a testament to the liberal tendencies of the Soludos. A tolerant family founded on the strong virtues of the Christian faith cannot be seen to be gagging the personal freewill of others, including family members.

Right inside the Soludo political camp are Men and Women from what may be considered rival political families. However, we do not make a fuss out of it because it really isn't a novelty deserving of special mention. For Oba and his political choristers to dwell so much on Obumneme's visit is indicative of a group in need of validation. This is exactly what you get from a political stowaway in the crisis of legitimacy.

If he considers this as a major win, I can only say congratulations to him and his group of dissidents. For me and other right thinking individuals, you can't really put something on nothing and expect it to stand. Now, imagine where nothing is placed on nothing.
