The timeline of the world has always being divided with the feature of the era, we have the stone age, jet age all this fall into different century. In this century 21st century. Information technology plays vital role in it, as it's cheap but hard to access. That's where the saying "information is power" and "be inform or deform". This information comes in different form, be it internet, newspaper, radio and television.
Islam as a religion is a "rigid" but "dynamic" religion. Rigid in the sense that it's complete and it's ruling and law can't be alter and dynamics in that it's teaching is and will continue to relevant with all time and era. Jihad in islam is a subject that has always being mis interpreted. The jihad during the time of the prophet was carried out as the time then demand. The jihad of the 21st century is not that of spears or gun, but that of knowledge and information. Muslims need to be educated and informed. As that's what will help our religion. Imagine in Nigeria, how many media house (print and electronic), what about university? Imagine the recent post election violence in Nigeria, the report we get was just one sided, i can't confidently and authoritatively tell you that the number of mosque that was burn and pull down, yes pull down by the christain far outweight that of churches, how many do you hear being reported by our media. Brothers and sisters, this is a clarion call for us, any way you can help islam, dont hesistate to do it. May Allah help us all.

well broteher, a western writer once wrote on webpage that " no well informed practising muslim will ever be overcome in any argument with any non muslim. he further went on to state, from his research and study of islam and other world religions, no schlastic, intellectual and religious criticism and surgery perform by any religiosity entity can ever withstand the uniqueness, dynamism and completeness of islam. he therefore wonder why an average muslim has not seen these.

Education is seriously needed a

May Allah continue to enrich you. That's it, the million almajiri we have up north need western education alongside the islamic education. That way they'll be able to juxtapose and ration their thinking. May Allah continue to bless and enrich us.
