Indeed a very sad narrative is currently being introduced into the hitherto urbane and friendly politicking style of electoral contest in Anambra State.

One cannot help but wonder at the level of desperation, that will drive a Guber contestant and his godfathers into sanctioning such a heinous criminal attempt on the life of his fellow contestant, to the extent of raising false and fabricated allegations through audio recordings and press statements, purported to emanate from IPOB, that is garnished at the end by a call on Ipobians to attack or even kill Senator Ubah. .

It is worthy of note, that these same elements who obviously have realised at this late hour that their usual propaganda lines of AMCON and debts has since lost traction, as Ndi Anambra are now fully aware that the Senator is in charge of his huge company, and that he pays his worker's salaries as, and at when due, contrary to their lies have now resorted to trying their hands at all manner of hatchet stories, all in a bid to break the tremendous love bond between Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah and the masses in Anambra State .

When they were busy seeking aliances and going after endorsements from political merchants, while displaying the pictures on social media in glee, little did they know that the long suffering people of Anambra who have borne the brunt of the outcome of the mistake, made by a former Governor by bringing in a successor with no previous known track record of service, except chants of former banker, have since zeroed in on one of their own , Ebubechukwuzo, whose track record they already know

Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah has since entered into a social contract with Ndi Anambra to rescue the state, from the present doldrums, and restore it's glory by delivering an Anambra that will be the commercial nerve centre of the Nation.

While the political godfathers clearly oblivious of what is going on in the grassroots had since gone ahead to yet again hand party tickets to ex banker this or that, with little or no pedigree in clear disregard of the wishes of the people, Senator Dr Ifeanyi Ubah in entering into a social contract with Ndi Anambra has showcased a bit of what he is capable of doing, something that is unheard of in the annals of the history of the country.

He galvanised his friends and contacts and delivered three world class hospitals with one each in the three Senatorial zones of Anambra state.

Now think for a moment and tell me which of the other contestants on the ballot can muster similar capacity, even with backing from their godfathers ? .

The one that tried to do a similar thing, though on a small scale some years ago, even as a serving CBN Governor is still struggling to deliver one hospital in his mother's memorial for 13 years now .

While it is imperative to state that we fully understand their fears and trepidation hence the desperate resort to cutting corners, they must also be told in clear terms that there is a red line/boundary that we don't cross when it comes to the way we play our unique politics as Ndi Anambra .

I will end this by reminding the opposition about the following assurances from the holy books

"When the Enemy comes in like a flood, the Spirit of God will raise a standard against him!" (Isaiah 59:19)

Senator Dr Patrick Ifeanyi Ubah is a divine project and that is the reason why the grace that he carries will never stop disgracing his foes.

Let the masses who the power belongs to decide who they want as their next Governor.
