Dnt mind moi curiosity, how could ds b possible. I bought d phone from Slot Systems here in Nigeria. Do i av 2 hold Slot Systems responsible 4 d cost due 2 b charged? cuz its their responsibily 2 ensure dt phones dt are being by their coy are duly under warranty. Or wat does d coy gain from buyin from Mauritius as u said n nt from Nigeria.Buyin from Slot makes one believe dt d coy has satisfied all conditions required 4 warranty. Anoda dubious act from a nigerian coy. Or how can 1 xplain ds. Really pissed about ds. Anyway, i wil wait patiently while moi phone fate is decided by both Slot n Nokia. Tnx 4 ur reply. Nokia Care:there is an implied condition as to the existence of warranty, cuz Slot made me believed there ia a warranty on the phone. Also, if the phone had been bought from phones meant for Nigeria n not from Mauritius, there would av been warranty. i wonder what Slot systems gained from buying from Mauritius, knowing fully well the implication of this as to the claim of warranty, hence there must be something dubious about this. Anyway, how long will it take Nokia to repair the phone n to what extent will i be charged for? Also pls advise me on how to make my claim to Slot. what is the likely defense dt i can use to make a full claim of the cost of repair? I will also like to know if warranty exist on this nokia C5 also from Slot. IMEI 356989048435576 |

Re: Nokia Care @ Nigeria: by amasha(f): 8:41am On Jul 19, 2011 |
nosmas: Doing an upgrade will most times erases everything you have on the phone that is why it is advisable you do a backup before we do the Upgrade,Im sure you were told. Your C7 has the User-Data Protection Feature but you still need to do a backup of your data just in case. What kind of applications were you trying to install?? |
Re: Nokia Care @ Nigeria: by nosmas: 9:50am On Jul 19, 2011 |
amasha:true i was told to back up but as when i brought the phone for repair, backing up was almost impossible. Even update of ovi map can not install. When i try to use map, i am prompt for a new update which i accept. Then after downloading to like 90% it day update fail. I have done this for 5 times now. Same thing win search update. Ovistore icon is showing but when i click on it it will come on for like a minute, after that nothing again |

pls help me o. my 3110c is giving me problems. yesternight, i removed my sim card and plugged the phone at my neighbours house overnite. this morning, he brought it to me when he was going out and i inserted my sim. to my surprise, the moment the phone wants to display the start up background, it switches off automatically and restarts itself. it continued for 3 times and then, it switches off totally. i removed my sim and switched it on and it asked me to correct date and time by displaying it without bringing on the phone. i corrected it and pressed ok and it still repeated the restarting processes. i switched it on again and it asked for date and time. i didnt correct it or press exit and so it is still showing the change of date without restarting. it is not displaying anything other than the battery bar and network signal. if a call comes in, it will restart itself virtually making my phone useless. PLEASE WHAT CAN I DO?? |
