Sometimes around May 2015, Globalcom Nigeria claimed they partner with NHIS to help Nigerians who are not government employee to have access to NHIS, that once you are a glo subscriber all you need to do is just to dial *616# to enrol. Weekly subscriptions was N250, and monthly N1,000.

Consequently, l subscribed to N1,000 monthly after full registration, l even chose my HMO, but could not access the service yet. All was well, l made contribution for about 24months , 2015 to 2017. Suddenly, the platform collapsed, they stop taking subscriptions, l called them, they are no longer taking monthly deductions, what happened. They said they are having technical issues, that they are working on it, they will be back soon.

After, sometime, l went to Glo office in Wuse 2 Abuja, but the lady denied knowing anything about Glo health Insurance Scheme. Subsequently, l went to NHIS to enquire about their partnership with Glo programme. They to denied having anything to do with Glo. This something that was all over the media as at that time, even till today you can still Google it.

Every attempt to recover my 24 months subscriptions has been unsuccessful. Every time they are investigating, they will get back to me, for almost 5 years, they are still investigating.

Ultimately, Nigerians be careful of what you subscribe for with Glo, they are corporate scammer.
