Proverbs 11:6
6 The righteousness of the upright shall deliver them:
But transgressors shall be taken in their own naughtiness.


There is a difference between righteousness and uprightness.
Being upright is a personal decision, but Being righteous is a gift from God. So let me put it this way the God of the upright shall deliver them in times of trouble.

It is your decision to become upright, and God who has given you the gift of righteousness will deliver you. Being upright pays, but it will only deliver you when you are with the Lord Jesus Christ. There are many upright people walking around but not all of them are righteous.

For the transgressors it will not end well. A transgressors is a violator of principles and an upright person is one who obeys the principles of God. An upright man's ways are easy and simple but a transgressor is always on the hard path of life.

Prayer: Lord Jesus you are our righteousness, helps us to walk uprightly in your ways, deliver us oh Lord. Thank you sweet heavenly father we glorify your holy name.
