UNIBEN graduating student drowns while celebrating final exam. Class Rep and Final Year Executives arrested by the Police. A final year microbiology student of the University of Benin, Edo State, Taiye Peter James also simply called TJ, is dead. It was gathered from our sources that he went on an outing on Thursday, July 8th, with his course mates to celebrate writing their final year last paper at a resort in Benin City, Edo State, when he drowned. According to a reliable source, the uniben student was swimming at the resort’s pool but no one noticed when he swam to the deepest part of the pool.
