Some of his church members would have staked their family house on Bet9ja for England straight win.
That is why most self-acclaimed prophets nowadays employ Nostradamus' technique in their predictions. They give a vague description so that no matter the outcome, their predictions would fall in line.

Nonetheless, there are still real prophets and seers. There was this old book by a Nigerian man, Thompson or so is diaspora, who was a free thinker but delved into the occultic after his strang encounter with a mysterious clairvoyant woman.
There was a viral video I stumbled on online, last year from a night crusade, if I still recollect properly, allegedly held about 3 to 4 years ago in the middlebelt.
The prophet talked about series of events in the country. He predicted the End sars protest which eventually happened last year, he spoke about the president's reluctance to address the youth which also happened same last year.
He also said Nigeria would break into smaller countries but when it would happen, it would be peaceful breakup, not a violent one unlike what everyone has been envisaging. He said other things in the video. I've been searching for the video online since then but couldn't see it again.
