I think the 'Youth' word should be removed from the Political party name. They should coin another name without putting the word YOUTH.

Ah! You're right. But the system would not allow an outsider to win an election in the first place.
For me there are 2 ways to achieve restructuring. We put enough pressure on the current ruling party(APC or PDP) to force their hand or the Nigerian army takes over and begins the process.

The reason I am shouting here on nairaland and also in real life, is because too many Nigerians like you, are stuck on the messiah complex. Too many Nigerians believe all we need is a good a leader that would emerge from the ballot. Unfortunately, there is no messiah, there never would be. So I am shouting it to let Nigerians know that we can have the country of our dreams if we restructure and put power in the hands of the federating units of Nigeria.

Already the SW governors forum have made mention of something similar with the 6 geopolitical zones they are presenting to the constitutional review process. How sincere they are is yet to be seen.

I am shouting so that more Nigerians would call for restructuring and shun things like youth president, affirmative action, female president, Igbo president, SW president etc, which are all tricks that politicians use to confuse us.

Kingsley Moghalu or Yemi Osinbajo. I'm Yoruba t'ara t'okan, if you must know! But that thing that never fails me keeps assuring me that it's yet to encounter Election 2023 on the Crystal Ball! Indeed, that there may not be any election holding in 2023!

Most Nigerian youths are brainless and lacking in depth. Even the term " youth " to them means only "westernized" and "social media active". There is a lack of articulationary capacity to broaden the scope of the message to cover young adults not living in Lagos, Phc, Ibadan, Abuja and a few other large cities. Some even narrow the application of the term to graduates of higher institutions.

You cannot do anything worthwhile with parochial attitudes and small ideas.
You will always fail.
Think, expand your scope and articulate a vision that all Nigerians below 45 from all walks of life buy into.

They should vote for me..
My agenda for the 8years will be to keep the fulanis where they belong and treat them in the language they will understand.
If that will be my only achievement for the 8years,I don't mind.

I highlighted some text in your post, sincerely what's your take on the insecurity and baditry ravaging the North? I live in the North

Nigeria is currently at war in the peaceful North, is this related to southerners? Politicians will fix their squabbles so I'm not bothered about 2023, my concern is those commoners with no secirity details being killed and abducted almost on a daily

Banditry kidnapping and the menance revaging the North is as a result of poor government policies, governance and 'i dont care attitude'

When you live people in abject poverty and have no concern about their future this is the result of what you'll see...

As for Boko haram we all know it a script been played to deceive the guilible.

I feel deeply disgraced when i write about The ills in the North!

Don't look for a successor to the last cowbender.

Look for who can heal the land with help of the people.

Osinbajo will be a perfect fit... He has the experience and know where the loop holes are, it is difficult to make things happen now because hes not the one that calls the shot, the President does. His acting period shows he knows his onions... the way he kept the nation at peace and all make him the best man for the job

Re: 2023: Youths Begin Search For Buhari’s Successor by Nobody: 5:34pm On Jul 13, 2021
The same youth who can't manage SUG are clamouring for Presidency, the same youth who give more attention to sex, clubbing, TV series and enage in politics of bootlicking, politics of give and take, politics of butter and bread and politics of sycophancy, the same youth who couldn't conduct free and fair election for students at universities are now eyeing for Presidency. Competency, integrity and merits are needed not age.
When I remember how old men like Prof. Soyinka, Prof. Jega and many freedom fighters failed to show anything reasonable today, I deeply doubt how can youth of today who only know how to collect money at the detriment of the right of their fellow youths can manage this Nation in the future?

Good Move.
My Thumb must be here.
There's the need to allow the youth have a say in piloting the affairs of the Nation.
Our so called leaders have failed woefully.
