Actually, the original design was for the project to be funded by NLNG and Federal ministry of works. However, FG’s funding is constrained by budgetary provision, cash backing of capital allocation and other government bureaucracy. So, in order to fast track the project since it’s of importance to NLNG, it was agreed that Ministry of works share should be paid by NLNG and it will subsequently be offset from their tax liability in accordance with the provision of Buhari’s 2019 Road Infrastructure Investment Tax Credit Executive Order 007.

So, what’s your point again?
Well, you`re right sha.....i must say.

Nice one president buhari on this, I served in bodo city in gokana .
Our Corp member lodge was located beside the creek that separate bonny island from bodo
The only means of transportation to bonny island was only by fibre speed boats which costs 1600 naira in the year 2015 when I was serving.
Though previous government has awarded the contract but failed to do it.
I saw some abandoned construction materials like granite, reinforcement iron rod, cement mixers which rotten, rusted, and are becoming part of the soil texture.
The materials can be dated back to 35 years ago in which they had been abandoned .
But now it will be easier to link bonny to porharcourt by taking taxi from water line to bonny camp, to eleme junction, to akpajo, to trailer park, to nonwa tai, to sakpenwa, to bera, biara, to kimbanga market, b dere, k dere, to mogho, apostolic, to st pius to bodo city girls school, and cross the bridge to bonny island.
