And I guess the Yaradua family which 100% owned the PDM that metamorphosed into PDP in 1998 is a family indegenous to the South-South, right? The truth is that no SS person can openly boast of being a part of those who founded PDP or APC. South-South people have always preferred to wait till the North forms a party for them to join it and begin to chant "One-Nigeria". While we know Yorubas to have at different times founded home based parties like AD, UPN, AG, which they use as negotiation vehicles; and the Igbos too have the record of having founded home based parties like NPP, APGA, YPP, PPP for same negotiation platform purpose; the South-South people are painfully directionless politically and have never formed any party of their own. Had APC come into existence in 1998 and become the Behemoth PDP became, the SS people would have as well accepted it as their own and develop an emotional attachment to it.

He obviously has no use for historical facts else he would have known that most of the people now called SS naturally gravitate more towards the Fulanis-owned party in any party system era. We need to remind him how Alhaji Bashir Tofa a Fulani candidate of the Fulani-controlled NRC had a landslide in Old Rivers State (now split into Bayelsa and Rivers) in the June 12 1993 election that saw North-centric NRC beat the Southerners-favoured SDP with 63% to 30%.
