The catfishes are reared in an Aquaponic green house where vegetables like cucumber, okro and leafy vegetables are also planted.
They grew in a replica of a natural habitat.
The ponds water PH are maintained at 6.8.
No fertilizers or booster are used in the farm

Once the fishes are one month old, we feed them with our locally formulated feed with 48% protein.
We just want to be sure of what the fishes are fed!

The fishes must get to 3 months maturity before the they are released for sale.
We don’t sell baby fishes

The aim is to fertilize the vegetables with the fish waste water. It’s been a successful project as we are harvesting massive sized cucumbers and okro in the farm along side the catfish harvests in just 3 months.
