Scriptural reference for the mission as given by Jesus Christ can be found written of in the 4 Gospels - Matthew , Mark, Luke and John. There the New Covenant Law of God, Jesus Christ, in the Kingdom of God is written of in details for those who really want to know the Truth.

In there, you learn that Jesus Christ never instructed any man to build Him kingdoms in this world or in his name. Even where His Church is concerned, Jesus Christ declared in Matthew 16 that He will build His own Church- by His hands - not the hands of men even the ones you call your pastors and Mog.

In the Gospels, you find written that Jesus Christ alone is Master/Head, Teacher, Shepherd, sole Leader/Authority over each and every individual who belongs to Him. No man is called to lead or teach anyone who belongs to Him because God alone is the only authority and administrator of His Church. It is all written right there in the Gospels for those who sincerely yearn for Truth, available in public domain for almost 400 years too.

Well, you have a point but I have other view about this based on the word of Jesus you highlighted above that Jesus said He will build His church. I'm curious, Jesus is no more here, is he going to come back and build the church or he committed it to peoples hand. The last time I checked, he manifested Himself to Paul the Apostle Himself on his way to Damascus and Paul established many churches, is that not Jesus building churches through men? What about Peter and the rest.

Jesus Christ's Church is built by Jesus Christ , is operated and administered by Jesus Christ and is managed still by Him and Him alone.

You may not have heard of Him since the time of Paul, but He is still alive and well, living inside of those who belong to Him, and to God - Sons of God - John 14 vs 20 -25 .

Jesus Christ is not building anything through men .. He never asked anyone to build anything in His name, let alone these churches that are instead world businesses glorified by men who run them.

What Peter and the rest of them did was simple...go out and preach the Gospel of the Kingdom of God, just as Jesus Christ commanded. They never built a single monument, let alone a church in God's name.
