If Chelsea receives a £25 million bid, they will consider selling the Frenchman.
Kurt Zouma, a centre-back targeted by Jose Mourinho’s AS Roma, is said to have a £25.6 million asking price from Chelsea.

The two-time Chelsea manager brought Zouma into the senior team during his second spell at the club in 2014, and he’s tried to sign him twice since then, once at Manchester United three years ago and again at Tottenham Hotspur in 2020.

The Portuguese strategist has returned to Serie A with the Giallorossi in the Italian capital, and he wants to pair Zouma with Chris Smalling, a former Manchester United player, in the heart of his defense.

The Italians had wanted to get the Frenchman on a one-year loan before contemplating a permanent transfer, but according to RMC, Chelsea is only interested in a permanent deal and wants £25.6 million for the defender.

This sum would most certainly be too much for the Italian club, but Mourinho was hired on the assumption that he would have a lot of money to spend.

Mourinho has lost no time in getting down to business in Rome, announcing that eight players are no longer needed at the club and have been barred from senior squad training.

Federico Fazio, Justin Kluivert, and Pedro are among the names on the list.

According to the latest rumours from Brazil, Flamengo has made a firm effort to recruit Chelsea winger Robert Kenedy.

According to Globo Esporte, the Rio de Janeiro club presented an official application for the 25-year-loan old’s transfer over the weekend.

The Blues have asked Kenedy to spend the pre-season in London while his position is resolved, and Giuliano Bertolucci, Kenedy’s representative, is in charge of the negotiations.
