Ilaix Moriba

His contract with the Catalan giants will end next year and Barca are trying to extend the contract as soon as possible.
However, there seem to be no headway as the player is reportedly asking for more.

Ilaix broke into the first team last season and has continued to draw interest. It is rumoured that Manchester City and Chelsea are currently monitoring the situation closely, and are willing to double the salary of the 18yrs old midfielder if Barca can't reach an agreement.

According to Sport, AS Roma have offered €15 million for the France international but Barca don’t want to sell for less than €25 million.

Jose Mourinho’s side may also have their work cut out convincing Lenglet to move. The report suggests he wants to stay but if he does go he wants to head to the Premier League.

Lenglet’s future has been uncertain for a little while, after a poor campaign last time out, although he has said he wants to stay.

“I can’t see myself leaving,” he told Eurosport in June. “I signed a new contract last season. I will be at Barça next season.”

SAMUEL UMTITI

The French star has really had it very rough at the Nou Camp in the past couple of days. The former Lyon star found himself at the hot end of whistling vitriol’s from some supporters hurting from Messi’s exit during the Gamper Trophy match against Juventus on Sunday. Apparently, they feel he should have left so that Barca could free up funds for Lionel Messi stay. As a result, he was booed when he replaced Araujo in the match.

EMRE DEMIR

There are reports that Barca is tabling a five [5] year contract offer for the player who plies his trade with Kayserispor in Turkey. His transfer fee is said to be cheap and would be a steal for the Spanish giants who are now looking towards a future without Lionel Messi.

Barca Transfer News: Staying, Going… Gone!

The transfer deadline is around the corner and once again, we bring you all the latest live deals, news and underground doings from FC Barcelona.

Barca Secure Emre Demir from Kayserispor

We earlier reported that the Catalans were tracking the Turkish youngster. The latest report is that Barca has signed the 17yrs old player from Turkish football side, Kayserispor. According to reports, Barca will pay €4m for the young midfielder. It was also decided that Emre Demir will be loaned back to his current club to continue his personal development.

Barca and RB Leipzig Reach Agreement on Ilaix Moriba Transfer

Ilaix may be on his way to Germany after ESPN reported that RB Leipzig has reached an agreement with Barca for the signing of the youngster. The deal is said to be worth €20m and will be five years. With this news, Ilaix Moriba is expected to leave for Germany to complete a medical before putting pen to paper to finalize the deal.
This will come as a big blow to both Chelsea and Tottenham who expressed serious interest to bring the Guinean player to London.

Emerson Royal Nearing Camp Nou Exit

It is looking more likely that the Brazilian full back may not get to enjoy his stay at Barca as there are reports linking him to Tottenham Hotspur. It is no longer news that Spurs tried to snap up Ilaix Moriba, but the deal seems to have fell through and the London based side is now confident of landing the former Real Betis man instead.
According to Fabrizio Romano, an agreement is in place between player and club and that Tottenham will pay up to €30million (£25.7m) for Emerson’s signature. Koeman earlier suggested that Sergino Dest and Oscar Mingueza are enough for the right back position. Emerson has already debuted in La Liga and started the last game against Getafe at the Camp Nou.

Barca Transfer News: Completed Deals on 1st September, 2021

As the summer transfers come to an end, we are left asking, what the Bleep Barca?

A lot of Football fans will be left wondering what is wrong with the Catalan giants after they allowed Antoine Griezmann return to his former club, Atletico Madrid on a season long loan with an option to make the deal permanent - a decision that has again, strengthened their major league competitor.

The deal is an irony on all fronts, almost like Atletico Madrid is simply taunting Barca by playing with their psyche. If the club will eventually allow Griezmann leave for free on a loan with an option to purchase, why didn't they pursue this and avert Messi's exit? Why were they in a rush to allow Messi leave only to eventually let go of Griezmann, one of their costliest and best players?

It looks like a transfer season of jamboree for La Blaugrana at the moment because what's more baffling is that they loaned out a 30yrs old forward only to sign a 31yrs old striker, Luuk De Jong as a replacement. But, that's by the way.

The 2021 summer transfer window will be an unforgettable one for culers who for the first time, witnessed a lot of strange happenings at Nou Camp, culminating in the exit of the world's greatest player and one of France's finest in recent memories, among others.

Here is a complete breakdown of FC Barcelona's summer transfer activities 2021/2022 -
