It's a symbolic way of saying as long as the dispensation of this blood holds, I'll not judge you based on an eye for eye. The reason He is doing all these is so as to save as many as would believe on the work of that blood. So, once He decides that it's time for the dispensation to be over, the world will understand His judgement. It's not yet time.
