Auto gurus please I need your advice. My ford edge was running low on fuel. The guage was a bit close to empty. Someone drove the car and decided to top the fuel with N2,500. Next day while returning from school run the vehicle kept tripping off but she managed to get it home. When I checked the dash board it showed, "fuel very low". Now the person is certain fuel was bought and I noticed the guage went up a bit. Could it be a case of bad fuel, if yes what should I do? I have not driven the car after the incident. |

Check the fuel pump and tank underneath the back seat. The pump should be responsible for the tripping off, while the tank probably has leaks due to rust. 4 Likes |

you let someone ddrive your carf and they bought some bad fuel for you. If you can only afford N2500 of fuel, you can't afford to own a car. You may have to fill it up with good fuel and pray, other wise you will have to drain the tank 2 Likes |

I dont let my fuel go below half tank. Fuel in the tank cools the pump and prevents it from sucking in sediment I can't remember when last I changed fuel pump |

Kids on today's. Spending a lot of energy on liabilities. It is one thing to buy a car and another to be able to own it. Running out of fuel and buying 3-5 gallons as refill is not a good practice. If something breaks in that car then you will know how sensible it is to drive on empty will all the bad fuels compared to N2500 |
