Why could a church that the General Overseer is worth 150 Million Dollars sack pastors in remote areas spreading the Gospel just because they don't make enough returns? David Oyedepo is a Nigerian preacher born on 27 September 1954 and the General overseer of the Winners Chapel or Living Faith Church worldwide. His church is one of the most successful "One man churches" in the world. With a staggering net worth of $150 million, one will wonder why sack pastors because of low income from their branches. Greed? Well, I leave it for you to decide after reading. It was a shocking moment to us and many other Nigerians as a man who identified himself as a former pastor of the Living Faith Church International, otherwise known as Winners Chapel, claimed that he and other pastors were sacked by the church for not convincing members enough to generate more money for the church. The man whose name is Peter Godwin said in a video that he was employed as a pastor in Living Faith on the 28th of August, 2020, but on July 1, 2021, he and over 40 other pastors were invited and given sack letters for not meeting up with financial returns.
