we are going to take a quick look at concrete mechanical property and how concrete behave. If you want to become a good Civil Engineer or a good structural engineer, then you should at least get to understand what concrete is and how it generally behaves i.e., the mechanical properties of concrete. there are some fundamental values which we need to determine; things like the modulus of elasticity of the concrete and the compressive strength of the concrete.
