Admission into ui this year has been/is the toughest so far.
I beseech you guys that just wrote the last pume especially change of course candidates to be more prayerful. Bear in mind that Candidates who scored reasonable mark in the first pume and changed their course to yours are likely to be considered ahead of you, inclusive of the first choice supplementary and the second choice candidates. but be rest assured that with God all things are possible.
Where did you guys heard that their will be a 3rd list? I doubt this!
Ui cannot resume this year though the school calendar stated nov 14, it would ave been possible but the strikes did not make the calendar work as we just recently finished the 2nd semester exam, moreso, ASUU is threatning an indefinite strike if the meeting with the FG on NOV 22 ended in a deadlock. But freshers will do their clearance, medical tests etc this year possibly nov/dec.
Be hopefull and prayerful as things may work out in your favour.

@hopez456 from what I know, you guys accurately followed the timetable cos I got friends there. they resumed january and went on holiday like two weeks ago so why can't the resumption date be nov 14?

@telz: we folowed the calendar but not religiously as there were sum unavoidable interruption eg we supposed 2 start our 2nd sem. Exam on aug 29, bt was shifted because of the first pume and stuffs lyk dat.morova i learnt convocation ceremony is slated for nov 14-16 bt nt sure. If u're nt convinced wit d aforementioned reasons, then time wil tel.
Concerning ma whereabout, i decided 2 bow out of dis thread due 2 sum pple's impatience and blind arguments on sum issues bt i do read u guys posts everyday and sum of u who av ma no do call for clarification on sum issues.

@andrew: i dnt know d exact no of people admitted bt b4 now, ui does nt admit up to 100 pple in such dept, pls dnt be scared things may change dis year and thank God u scored more than 50.

@justice: if u remember the supplementary list is for 1st choice candidates dat were unable 2 submit deir biodata b4 d closing date due to fluctuation of the portal. They may be given priority due to the fact dat they were denied the right 2 write d exam alongside the first choice candidates which they are part of, 2: they are also denied the opportunity of changing their course as first candidates who scored mor dan 50 changed theirs. Well scoring more than them is an added advantage.

Hello@all, i had been so silent for a while now and it was due to my close monitoring with the ui admission this year and i must say that it is not as expected, Congrats to those already admitted and those who has scored a very good mark for themselves and i pray they finally make it, But i must be blunt here that despite scoring above 200 in JAMB and made all the 9 o-level subjects both at B's and credit level UI cant shortlist someone for postjamb and they have collected 2000k meant for the screening and denied the chances of writing such exams, tell me.is this not corruption and talent killing?, because if everybody were allowed to write the postjamb then we can be talking about showing up the kind of stuff individual is made up, I dont mind as for me, only to go back for my HND after graduating with a DISTINCTION, a first class equivalent in the university in STATISTICS AND MATHEMATICS and having score so many first in my career, i think UI only want to delay me but they should not worry, i will come back and teach them how to be BEST when it comes to admission after all they are not the only one with very high number of students in this year admission.

@andrewpee i'll help you with your position when I'm done with what I'm doing
