So you want to compare Ilorin to Lokoja? Lol... Ilorin International Airport started full operations 15 years ago... and you’re just knowing.. e be like you dey live inside farm. How many states have international Airports in Nigeria? FYI, Besides the Airport, Ilorin is one of the few states in Nigeria that have Aviation school. Mikecold: 6 Likes |

Thank God for the safety of life and property. We all know who owns Air Peace, if this had been related to another person from a different region, the children of hate and perdition would have been all over the place to celebrate the bad news in their characteristic manner. May their hearts continue to be filled with hate, rage, anger and frustrations like their forefathers since 1967. Ababbio: |

Shellsploit:Lol, seems you want to start driving from Lagos to Abuja, kano to Lagos etc. Either that or you pay 200k for local 1 hr flight due to low capacity and high demand. Surely the other airlines will smile to the bank. 1 Like 1 Share |

Shellsploit:In what capacity are you recommending this ? A tyre blowout is not abnormal in aviation and that is why there are two tyres on both sides of the aircraft to complement each other. AIB inspected the scene / aircraft and returned the aircraft to the carrier because they found nothing abnormal . 1 Like |

segun18:Not a joke. He/she probably doesn’t know that aircraft tyres are filled with nitrogen at 200psi. Set of tyres for Boeing 777 cost about $50,000. Will you buy a tyre for that amount and take to a road side vulcaniser to fill up ? Do road side vulcanisers even have nitrogen pumps ? 1 Like |

Why are all these very substandard airports in the ZOO referred to as international airports? But before we can answer that question, we MUST define and determine what makes an airport international in the truest sense of the word not by the Zoo's own definition and standard. To be classified as an international airport, the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO) requires that such airport must have Customs and Immigration services, as well as an Emergency Medical Center and a Quarantine Zone for animals and plants. That suggests that such airport is capable of having international flights arriving and departing from it. Around the globe, there are over 1,300 truly defined international airports. So, now back to the Zoo's own narrow and insipid definition of "international airport," are these ramshackle buildings fit to be called international airports? The answer is resoundingly NO! Why then do we continue to refer to them as international airports? |

The media plays a big role in stabilizing and also portraying the image of the country In a positive way, instead we are quick to spread/upload negative stories/comments/happenings. Right now what are we supposed to do with this news?? This is a normal situation and it happens in other countries even civilized ones. We owe it to ourselves and nobody to make this country a great one. |
