That gift is the bane of contention. The civil service and in short, every organization should enact a gift policy! If they have one, it should be implemented but you know how it goes! Our country's ratings corruption wise is very high, thus gift policy should be taken seriously.

He understood it was a business deal gone bad. The suspect must have made some threats to hush. That issue was settled.
